Just bought a clean one and really like it. GLWS

I played this one and it is super nice, tough to find a nicer one, tough to find a nicer seller also.

Echo the same commentary. The machine looks and plays great and Roger always goes the extra mile on lighting and titan rubbers and the final result is excellent. This is a fun and under appreciated game

I’ve not played one, but would like to try it some time. This looks like a nice example.

Can't believe this is still for sale, I never owner any Gottlieb games but played this particular machine and it was really fun and it was in great condition, tough to find 90's games in this price range and condition.

I'd like to try a Goldeneye for a while and would be interested since it's local if it wasn't priced $1000 too much. Even at $2400 that's really pushing it for a Sega.

#13 6 years ago

Yeah I really want a Goldeneye back in my collection, it is a very fun game, not super deep or anything, but good old fashion multiball heavy fun. Just too many other games at this price point that edge it out in the long run.

Hey POMC, don't quote some BS price that you think is fair on my "for sale" thread . . . . . . get lost!

Huh? Don't want any comments then don't make a forum post for an ad.

How is it a BS price? Look at the price estimate on pinside...($2220 - $2580) that has got to count for something right? However I do agree you have the right to ask for any amount you want. I'd be interested but more around the $2200 price point. Either way, nice game and good luck with the sale!

He's asking $3400, not $2400.

We know.

We both are just saying we'd be interested if it was priced accordingly to what a Goldeneye would typically be sold for. He's saying he'd be interested in it at the median $2200 price point. At $2400 I'd consider it since it's local enough, but still that price would give me pause.

Yes exactly this.

Price police have got to admit that the condition of this game is top notch. You barely ever see Goldeneye's and they NEVER look this good. I had a beautiful one 4 or so years ago that sold for a premium in very short time, and it was not as nice as this one.

#21 6 years ago

These tools that are trying to "price police"...(more like undercut this guy) are not fooling anyone. Only 18 sales in the last 7 years are skewing the avg price down and they know it. Last 3 RECENT sales were in the $3k range and this one is nicer.
Try following forum etiquette and not ridiculously comment on someones FS thread. For the record I recently sold this title for more money than he's asking, so I do have first hand experience. God luck OP, it's a great looking example.

Ah I see what you were saying. No need to price police, the days posted tells the story. Wouldn't be surprised to see it sell in the high 2s eventually, but might take a while.

#23 6 years ago

I just checked the archived classifieds, one recently sold for $2900 that was not even close to the condition of this one. There are a bunch of others that were selling for $3000, $3100, $3200 and $2950.

This is right, I just looked at the pinside suggested pricing and assumed it was right. It is a very pretty game. I would also like to admit Ramjet has a very cool collection Just think of it as lots of free bumps.

sold one just as nice for $2400 a year ago, and it sat for over a month.

#26 6 years ago

Sold my HUO for $3,500 15 months ago, he made the offer.

#27 6 years ago

In this condition I don't think it's an unfair ask. GLWS

I always thought price policing was part of the fun when selecting a thread with your sale I've been beaten up over price before; I think it's funny. Some will agree and some will disagree, but the bumps make it worth it.

All the Sega games have seen a big swing up in the last year or two. My SST is worth a lot more than it was just a year ago. Heck, it's worth more than I would pay for it

I've never played a decent Golden Eye. I have no idea what a proper price is, but I'm sure someone will pay it... eventually.
