That's a weird way of saying you bought one to flip.

Quoted from arcademojo:Actually it depends on where you bought the game from. My buddy did the exact same thing. Wasn't going to buy the game but changed his mind once they started selling out. FOMO set in and he ended up buying one from a distro charging $12,500. He had to put $3000 down on it. He was also on a wait list for another distro. The distro he was on the wait list for called and said they had one so he bought that one for $9500. Then tried to cancel the other one but found out it was a non-refundable deposit. He's never bought a game to flip but now has one NIB and one set up. Said He'll just keep it for trade bait down the road or wait a few years to see what the value goes up to.
So the moral of the story is gouge the next guy for your own stupidity? If it was listed up as for sale what he said he payed, I might feel sorry, but we all know this is way over sale price.
