Hello,

You are looking at a Williams gilligans island pinball machine.

Some notable features on this game are:
Voice-over artist Tim Kitzrow provided the voice of Mr. Howell.

First pinball game with a Dot Matrix Display (DMD) released by Williams/Bally, although Williams' 1991 'Terminator 2: Judgment Day' was the first Williams/Bally standard pinball game *designed* with a DMD. That game took longer to complete the design and begin production and so was released later.

The promotional video released WMS/Bally also claims the coin door latch was redesigned to ensure the general illumination (GI) is not shorted out on the coin door. It also claims the ball poppers were redesigned to use a single piece mechanism connected by a screw rather than the prior two piece system connected by a pin that caused some mechanical problems.

Collect your parts of the lava seltzer to battle kona.

Fun machine.

Pros:
Playfield is one of the nicest I have seen. With just a little wear at the ramp return and the ball scoop. And that is about it.

Tastefully LED'd

Beautiful translight.

Cons:
The cabinet is a bit faded. But that seems to be the case with all of gilligans islands.

Here is a video on gameplay of the machine:

Willing to trade this + Jurassic park for an AFM +/- cash dependant on condition. May also be willing to trade this machine + cash for a WCS94 dependant on condition.

I wish I was closer! Have been looking for this game.

I wish you were closer as well.

Thanks you gunstarhero for your contributions on this thread.

I am still trying to figure out what picture gave away that it was a reimport. Must of been the coin door picture.

Either way like gunstar has said the transformer has been converted to US voltage and the service port works. I don't see why reimport has anything to do with value a lot of my machines are reimports and I don't value them any differently than any of my standard US pins. silver_spinner Why do reimports turn you off so easily? Or were you just pointing that out to pinside without truthfully wanting this machine?

Quoted from dsuperbee:

This was my game before Jabbles had it.
The coindoor that is currently on the game is NOT the coindoor it originally had. Original coin door the lock hole had been hogged out, so I replaced it with what I had. It originally had a standard US door.
Also rebuilt the 5v section, pulled the day 1 mylar (which is why the pf is so darn nice), and lightly modded the game via lighting (lit the seltzer popper, lit the ball cup and the top of the pf, and lit the shrunken head stand up).

So does that make this a standard game @dsuperbee? Or is it a reimport?

Ahh ok thanks for the input anyways buddy!

Quoted from dsuperbee:

The tag with the serial number back should tell you, I don't recall. I bought it from a guy in Discovery Bay, but that doesn't mean a thing.

I checked the tag and it is a reimports. Just so everyone knows. It is a reimports but the service outlet works and everything is changed to US voltage.
