I wish we could all stop trying to artificially inflate prices of these games. The Getaway is not and never will be a $3700 game. I hate being that guy, but I'm tired of seeing overpriced pins. Just because Stern and JJP keep pushing NIB prices up, doesn't mean we, as collectors, need to follow suit.

I respectfully disagree. All lower priced pins are going up.

I hate to be the guy to tell you that you don't get to dictate lifetime prices for pins. You don't have to like the price - only the person buying the game will decide that. Like it or not, prices are going up and will continue to go up on both new and used pins. I sold a nice Getaway that wasn't quite as nice as this one and without all the mods for $2900 a year or so ago. Pretty sure I could of got more for it and prices have gone up since then. Seller's price may be a bit ambitious but not too far off what I would list if it was my game.

Not trying to dictate prices. I just get tired of seeing old "C list" titles listed at more than I've paid for NIB Sterns in the past. It's just stupid to me. NIB games will continue to go up. WE can't help that, but WE can decide that we won't pay ridiculous money for old games. The days of a $700 Getaway and Fish Tales are gone, but they aren't 4K games. That's my opinion, anyway.

Rising NIB prices definitely affect used machine pricing. A rising tide lifts all boats... can't fight the tide on this one. Unless you convince all those NIB buyers to stop paying crazy prices too.

Don't worry though, the bubble's going to burst any day now, and everything's going to fall... ha.

You should take advantage and sell all your machines and stop buying. Then when the prices fall, you can buy them back! Good luck!

One thing that may affect pricing on this particular title is that another one of comparable condition is currently priced $1200 cheaper and has not yet sold

$2500 for a nice Getaway is a pretty good deal imo. Could be a variety of reasons it has not sold - location, seller communication, condition issues not reported, etc. This one has some added value in mods but that may not be worth much to some people. Market will sort it out.

agree with you 100%. One sitting in Nashville for $2500 for weeks in very decent shape not selling.
