This asking price is not much more than what I paid for the pin and I think I got it for a great deal. Literally, I've never seen so much chrome on a pin. Can you get a Getaway for LOTS less? Well, yes you can. Can you get one totally blinged out with this much chrome, PinSound, ColorDMD for a lot less. I highly doubt it. I'll get some additional photos up soon.

I get that. There are many very playable and fun Getaways without all the pizazz. Some like pizazz. I am in that group so it is just a matter of finding the right person. This will make someone a nice pin.

Ha! Remove the chrome and half you playfield is gone. I'll admit that the chrome on this pin is over the top but I see nothing wrong with that. I didn't put it on but I certainly approved of it and knew it was on there when I purchased. Heck, it is one of the reasons I purchased.

I think I'll be fine. I'm okay with liking my pins in super nice/over-the-top condition and I'm willing to pay for it. That is what is great about this hobby. There are plenty of Getaways out there for much less that are just as much fun they just don't look as nice.

Thanks, Buddy. I know I'm gonna be keeping some pins in my line up anyhow and seriously considering just keeping both the Shadow and Getaway as they are better examples of great pins than I'm ever likely to find elsewhere. I don't mind paying the premium for awesome shaped pins but understand many don't.

I think the pop area are some colored Mylar rings. There is also some cool lighting effects with the additional blue flashers next to the beacon.

Moving day is today. Game is packed up along with rest of collection and heading to new house. \

I need to set the game back up after the move. Hopefully by later this week I can get her set up and more detailed photos taken.

Grinder, you did an amazing job! Finally getting settled in after the move and starting to set up pins. Tempting to just keep them all. New basement could probably fit 20 without too much trouble.
