This makes me regret selling my Getaway...

Very nice looking example of this title.

Bump for one of the nicest Getaways out there!

I was told by the reliable Pinsider from whom I bought this a few years back that it is a very early HEP restore. Either way, it is gorgeous and plays GREAT. I am bumping this to the top. If it doesn't sell in the next few days, I will return it to Arizona and put it back in the collection. No love for a HEP 'Getaway'? I know there are many of this title out there, but not like this one!

It must be a very old HEP restore? Didn’t Chris put “restored by HEP” decal on lockdown bar receiver before he started branding the underside of playfields. Don’t get me wrong I think it’s beautiful 6T9Judge

Yes. I was told at the time of purchase (and I have an email from this experienced and trusted seller confirming it) that it is a very early restore, and while Chris wouldn't consider it officially a 'HEP', it IS his work. From the look of it, there couldn't have been THAT many plays put on it since the restore, and I haven't put that many in the few years I've had it. It is a gorgeous game, and it not selling has told me that it must need to come back home!

I actually remember this one. I have probably done three Getaways and this was the first probably around 2005.
Cool to see it sixteen years later. Definitely not up to more recent HEP standards but a nice game and fairly priced nonetheless.

Thanks for chiming in, Chris. I felt confident with the word of the person from whom I bought it, but I appreciate your confirmation. Not a 'HEP', but still a beautiful example. I am a fan of your work!

This game plays perfectly! It is a beautiful collector example of Getaway.

If you get a game from 6T9Judge (whether it is his or mine), you can be guaranteed it will be dialed in.

Really stood the test of time then Chris.

Always nice to have beautiful games come back a second time. I’m guilty of this numerous times.

And now confirmed restored by the master! Cool.

Put “HEP” in the title. That may generate some more interest.

    #18 8 days ago

For the same price, I would rather have this then the Bad Cats...

No you really can’t do that it’s not a HEP game. Just a game I did on the way to becoming HEP.

Sure looks nice for one of your “not a Jedi yet” pins. Wow

What the heck. That's odd. You must have offered him a lower amount?

Yep, had to be a low ball or list of crazy questions he wanted answered.
