Quoted from unclerudy:What price would people think is fair on this? 2k? And state that it is a project pin?
Well, the PF is junk, the cab is water damaged, the CPU has acid damage, every metal part is severely rusted or corroded, there are very few salvageable parts, there's no pics of the game turned on, so i'm sure there are MANY more issues... MAYBE $800. It will cost +/- $5500 in parts and a couple hundred hours labor to restore this turd... And that's if the unobtanium bits are even salvageable!
Quoted from arcademan1:Look again no rust and the cabinet is. I water damaged. Yes the playfield has wear and yes the cpu shows some acid damage but not what you guys describe.
My impression is... Clearly english is not your first language, and you have apparently have no idea what rust/corrosion is... all the metal that is brown, like the lock bar receiver and the speaker is RUST, and all the white stuff on the coin door, ramp flaps, scoops etc is corrosion. What causes these conditions?? WATER!
My guess, this game sat outside with no glass on it for quite some time! Bottom line, its not that we "don't like the price" its about your dilutional expectation that ANYONE with even a mild understanding of this hobby would pay even a third of what you're asking for this POS! I also suspect that you either acquired this thing for free or a couple hundred bucks at most. And you came to a forum of pinball experts, thinking you can bullshit us into thinking its not what it is, and unload it at this ridiculous price!! Insulting!!
Have you even bothered to compare your thrashed and neglected turd to the other games for sale in the similar price range??? The one in Alamo, CA for $6900 is also a thrashed filthy piece of shit that hasn't been shopped, cleaned, serviced or maintained in over 22 years, but its still in better shape than yours, and it also hasn't and NEVER will sell for anywhere near what he's asking! The seller texted me a ton of pics 2 weeks ago, and i'm still having nightmares!!
Quoted from radium:I'd pay a third for it. $2k FH project? Yes please.
Seller... Take this offer and laugh your ass all the way to the bank!
Quoted from LitzDoc:This is what my Funhouse looks like. It’s worth $6000. Full LED with LED OCD, NVRAM Invisiglass and New PF. I figure this would be helpful to a perspective buyer for comparison.
If you're looking to sell, PM me and i'll wire you the 6 grand immediately! Deadly serious!
ok, I have the deal for you... A straight trade... 32 year old pinball machine for a 32 year old car identical in value and condition!
Car comes from a house where he owned it for about 20 years
He bought it and just drove it.
Needs to be shopped.
Needs either a new ECU or water damage cleaned.
Needs new headlights installed they are not included.
Basic testing and everything seems to work fine. I did not do extensive testing.
Wrapped and ready to go.
