As far as subtracting shipping, if Blackbeard was paying to have it shipped (i.e. a few hundred bucks to NAVLS) then I'd buy deducting that amount from the posted price. But the business of gas and personal time - don't think that should be factored in. I've picked up and delivered pins before, and the cost of my time and gas are sort of irrelevant to what the agreed price was. Sure, it's a little point of negotiation, but trying to quantify it is foolish.

Around here an average working WH20 is $4k plus all day... The only one listed in Boston area right now is asking $5,800.

You realize you're doing essentially the opposite of what your accusing the OP and his fellow "New Yorkers" of - sort of "reverse shilling" (if such a thing exists lol). My guess is you're bitter that the market for certain pins keeps going up... Maybe you sense this title is getting out of reach to you, so you claw at sales threads like this?

Btw, I've bought two of these WH20's recently one (the more average one) was $4,500 + net, with some shopping. The other one (gorgeous restored) I traded an essentially brand new Kiss Pro (with about $500 worth of upgrades in it) and have spent another $1,000 on plus a couple dozen hours of "free" labor on... So over $6k on it...

A few months ago, when I decide I wanted one - I approached a dozen local owners, none of them would sell - and I even offered $4,500 for one, sight unseen. "$4,500" is no surprise for this title - it appears to be the going rate on a decent one of these from what I've seen.
