Game - for sale

FS/FA: Data East TORPEDO ALLEY

Condition: Used - shows wear but 100% working and clean

Price

$ 2,100

I have for sale a nice TORPEDO ALLEY pinball machine.
Data East made only 1002 units in 1988 making this a low-production game.
This pin has the option for multi-ball (you can play with up to three balls at the same time) and speaks during a game.
The machine is working 100% OK without errors: general illumination, switched lamps, flashes, solenoids, flippers and all the mechanisms were revised and they are working correctly.
The artwork of the playfield looks in good condition. It was partially retouched in some small places.
The set of plastics is in good condition. The caves had some repairs near the entrances (very, very common on this model) and they look very presentable.
A new set of drop targets was installed.
New decals were installed on the drop targets, spinners, bumper caps, and flipper bats.
Flipper links, flipper plungers, and flipper coil stops are new.
The set of rubbers is new.
The lower cabinet and the backbox are in good condition with some small retouches made here and there.
The set of displays is working 100% OK without segments or digits missing. The second numeric display (lower right) exhibits more signs of use than the other three, but it's working without problems.
Batteries were placed at a remote distance from the CPU.
Sounds and speech are working correctly.
Two coin mechs for quarters are installed and they are working without problems (the machine is currently programmed for free play).
Original coin box is present.
Front door and backbox have locks with the corresponding keys.
Four leg levelers are included.
A copy of the manual is included.
I also listed this pin on Ebay:
ebay.com link: Data East TORPEDO ALLEY Pinball Machine ########## [phone number removed]88

Can ship by PILOT Freight Services protected into a wood crate.
Or the buyer can make the arrangements with STI/CRST/NAVL for a move door to door.

Thanks for looking!

Robert

Todd did a nice job on a TORPEDO ALLEY
Watch it here:

Did you add that second spinner on the left or is that factory?

#4 8 years ago

This machine came with a left spinner installed, but some others have a wire gate in that position.

#5 8 years ago

Im curious how the software handles it. I tried a spinner in place of the wire gate but it would award 75k a spin when fleet was ready!

That girl is totally naked chest down on the head. lol, awesome.
*I know she has spandex on but, without looking at the BG....
