I have had this pin in my collection for almost 5 years now. In an effort to free up some room I am putting this very nice Dredd up for sale.
The playfield was completely removed, torn down, all parts tumbled and polished, the playfield professionally clearcoated, ramps flamed and all assemblies cleaned and rebuilt if necessary. This was done about 4 years ago.
I also took advantage of the teardown to switch the star posts over to clear and to add some GI lighting to the rear of the playfield to brighten it up. Over time most of the colored inserts have been switched over to LED's. The difference from a stock Dredd is amazing.
The Deadworld ring was changed but the software was not updated.
Board set is nice and the DMD is bright with no line issues. It has a replacement display driver board installed.
It has the older and original remake of the topper ( heavy). But it looks nice and does the job.
The back box light board was removed and refinished in white and with some LED's to make the colors of the translight pop.
The lower cabinet is exceptionally nice with minimal fade and wear. The back box, which is typical, has some fade and a few scuffs.
Needs a good home. It's plug and play, needs nothing to be put straight into a collection.
May consider a trade for the right pin from the same era.
