Price

$ 15,000

VERY low play HUO Capcom Big Bang Bar.
I just went thru this and everything is tweaked and working perfectly. The troubleshooting report says an "unused" light is out on the apron but it is working. Very clean game and the photos speak for themselves.

Please email ______@_____________ [email removed] for more information.

Game is currently setup in our showroom in Columbia, MO and you're welcome to come play before you buy.

I believe the rings on the tube are an aftermarket mod and IS included with the game.
This game is EXPP #10 meaning it was a spare parts game made at the end of the production run at Illinois Pinball. There is no light bar behind the translite [I guess this is a spare part they didn't have]. No holes where it was ever installed but the connector is there for it. Easy enough to add one yourself.

Price is firm at $15000 and can be shipped in the USA via R&L on a pallet or via NAVL for additional expense. Of course it can be picked up free locally.

This machine's serial number is EXPP #10

According to ipdb.org this means it's Extra Parts/Playfield and it says 10 or 11 of these were the last ones made.
So this one is quite possibly "the last one off the line".

A current Pinside poll suggests 2 out of 3 people here would consider this no longer "HUO" if you have it set up on a showroom floor for the public to play. Although I personally disagree and think it could still be called HUO.

So maybe this is a dumb question but is it actually a Capcom game or a IPB game ? I'm thinking the later and a free bump.

Not the capcom game. When IPB ran them they had left over parts and made a few more.

Dayhuff knows - he has been collecting before flippers were invented.

I acquired one of these games for a friend of mine here in Tampa.

Gene said it was parts he had left over after he made the games. I always thought it was cool to have a serial # like this!

This was at end of run as Gene charged him a lot more than the $4500.

He might have bought it from Jamie as I thought that's what his game # was??? He went by Krazybastard here in Tampa.

Jamie sold it NIB as he was getting out of hobby.

#15 8 years ago

Flippers arcade at the Outer Banks in NC has one for coin play... along with 50-70 other games... LOTS of Stern LE models

On a related front...

If you have a Big Bang and would like to get rid of the erroneous message about the "unused" credit lamp on the apron you can download a patched version of the V1.09 software from here: http://www.dziedzic.us/BBB/bbb109-p1.zip. The patch marks that lamp as the "CREDIT" lamp and eliminates the error message due to the "extra" lamp in the matrix.

When I originally developed the patch (back in 2009) I asked for and received Gene Cunningham's permission to distribute it.

Thanks for plugging these guys.... man, I love that place.

I wish it wasn't a 3.5 hour drive.... but...it's actually worth it for a pinhead.

I planned an extra day onto my last outer banks trip with the family just to spend there.

Just talking about it makes me want to plan a road trip!

I got really into this game playing at Flippers. Lots of fun.

When I went to the arcade expo in Banning California back in October, they had a Big Bang Bar there for everyone to play, attached a pic of it.

I believe one was placed on location in Norway shortly after release.

My game went to Expo twice, so slightly routed.

Lloyd at SS Billiards used to have one in the arcade. I believe it was an original Capcom before the remakes.

#26 8 years ago

Beautiful machine, but I didn't find it to be much fun.

#27 8 years ago

i've played lloyds. His is an original tho. Wasn't really thinking of the originals. More of the aftermarket ones. the numbers have to be 98% HUO tho.
