Game - for sale

FS Demolition Man $2500

Added: 2015-06-03 18:07:39 UTC • Ended: July 12th, 2015
Condition: Fully restored (full original status)

Price

$ 2,300

Time to make room and save up to by one of my grail machines, so I am selling my VERY VERY VERY nice Demolition Man.

The machine is:
Fully LED'd.
New sling plastics.
Plastic protectors.
Very clean cab and playfield, no wear.
Chrome Handles (Mike Chestnut did them before I bought the machine a few years ago from Eabundy).
Chrome backbox hinges.
Chrome coinless/slotless coin door, with maintenance switches moved to inside cab.
Lighted flipper buttons.
Chrome flippers.
Super Band flipper rubbers.
Running James Cardoza's FreeWPC code Version .99 (also have original game roms).
PinGuard Cabinet Protectors.

Only things really stopping this from being more CQ, it the leg protectors cut the decals , there is a small scuff on the lower left side of the head. And it has the broken tip off of the very very end of the plastic near the 3rd flipper like most every DM has/had but it has plastic protector there so there is no gameplay issue but it is noticeable if you look.

Added a youtube vid of the game in attract mode.

Price drop to $2300

Is that strobing of the inserts during attract mode actually there or is the video just making it worse?

Looks awesome btw.

Thank s Chuck. Not there in person as far as I can see. Most likely a combination of my camera and the reprocessing software that Youtube uses when they remaster uploads.

If anyone in the local area is interested, cost you a beer to come play it and check it out.

#4 8 years ago

That's what I thought. I took a slo mo video of a friend of mine playing one with LEDs throughout and the strobing on that vid was nuts. Haha

What happens if I'm not interested (I already own a nice DM), but I show up with beer anyway?

Then you can play with the other pins.

Unless you are Dr Dave, then bring more playfield glass. I used up the ones I bought from you last year. )

You too? What's yours?

STtnG about 3 miles from my house for sale.

And if I can sell my DM, and buy his STTnG he can buy a machine local he wants... All good.

Looks like a great machine! Glwts

Very nice.

Semi-shameless bump (I do have SOME shame) for a nice machine.

I can even install the default factory roms if FreeWPC scares you. If you are not familiar with it, it is a rewrite of the entire ruleset for DM to add in video game modes and lots of cool features. Downside is the factory analytical code to watch for bad switches and stuff, is no longer present. So your game needs to be in good running shape or the results get unpredictable. (But it is a much funner game running this code over factory IMHO).

Sounds like a good price for that Pin as that is what I sold my extra nice one for.

Looks gorgeous. DM was this first game I owned and its a fantastic shooter that never gets old.

Great ramps, cool toy, fun theme

Price drop to $2300..

And I noticed just a tad of dullness in the lower right corner of the DMD, so I just swapped in a replacement. I also just tweeked the switches on the claw as the far left one seemed to hang up at times until the claw moved.

Ha! I'm not Dr Dave. And that's funny because he is one of the reasons my nick is DaveH. I'd have just gone by Dave, but that was confusing for people. I'll tell him you need glass when I see him in a couple days. =)

Tell Dr Dave I said hello! Man does wonders with old Bally restorations...

#17 8 years ago

Beautiful Demo! Question, does the original coin door cone with the game?

#18 8 years ago

It could
