Quoted from DaveH:

All of the LEs have the painted and cleared cab. Ops may not like them, but they're gorgeous.

To be a little more accurate, they're direct-printed and cleared and some of the regular editions were done that way as well. And didn't Jack also state that nobody can tell the difference between the decals they use and the direct print? Do you disagree with that? Either way, I agree the application of the artwork on the LE was gorgeous.

Quoted from DaveH:

Is there a need for me to agree or disagree? That being said, yes, there is a difference between the direct printed cabinet and the decals. What do I win? Ahh, I win a bump for the OP

I guess you win a debate with Jack who I thought stated nobody could tell the difference? You're officially "special"!

The difference I've noticed in JJP's cabinet artwork is mostly the use of high-definition artwork. The one interesting point is whether the direct-print or decals hold up better over time. I would think (logically) that UV-protected inks directly printed and then clear coated with a UV resistant clear coat would hold up better over longer periods of time (in regards to fade). The decals they use are similarly gorgeous but I'm not sure they're as durable since there is not that 2 layers of UV resistance. Time will tell I guess.

Side note, free bump, this LE obviously has what I think would be the superior cabinet artwork (direct-print and then clear coated.)
