For Sale: 1981 Williams Pharaoh - 100% working

Added: August 24th, 2015 Ended: October 21st, 2015
Condition: Fully restored (full original status)

Price

$ 1,400

Item description

Up for sale is my 1981 Williams Pharaoh. This pin is in 100% working condition and a lot of work has been put into it to make it very reliable and play like it should. Both playfields were stripped, cleaned, waxed and all parts were individually cleaned. Back side of all playfield inserts were cleaned as well.

Rebuilt all 4 flippers, including new EOS switches and nylon flipper bushings along with brand new coils for the bottom 2 flippers.

The backglass in great condition with only 1 small area of wear near the player 4 score window. This can be seen in the pictures. Other than this it is in really nice condition for it's age.

There is a vertical line of wear on the upper playfield. You can see this in the pictures. There is also some wear around various inserts. Overall the playfield is in nice shape.

New parts installed:

* New 40 pin male and female connectors on MPU and driver board
* New Lithium battery holder and battery installed
* New capacitors installed on the power supply
* New male/female connectors installed for 6.3vac in and GI illumination out connectors on the power supply
* New 5101 RAM installed (socketed) on the MPU
* New Williams yellow flipper bats
* New rubbers installed
* New incandescent GI lights installed
* 2 new premium silver balls installed
* All new leg levelers installed

I apologize for the poor quality of the photos. I had to use the flash on my iPhone to get decent pictures of the pin as the lighting in my basement is not good for photos.

This pinball machine works 100% and plays nice and fast! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I can also provide deliver and setup, if needed, for a fee. Thanks!

Nice! The backglasses are usually wasted on this game for some reason.

#3 6 years ago

Great game, yours looks impeccable! My backglass is toasted, your machine is worth every penny your asking! Any collector of these two level system 7's would love to have one as nice as this original.

Not to derail, but is that upper right flipper supposed to be a mini? Mine has a full size!

Good catch! Its supposed to be full size.

#6 6 years ago

Uh oh. Phoebe says its supposed to be a mini. Now I don't know what to believe.

The way the plastics are makes it look like it should be a full.

#7 6 years ago

Is it? I have seen it both ways, but never thought aboot it till now.
I would assume he has the correct set up though.

#8 6 years ago

Solar Fire, Black Knight, and Jungle Lord all have two full size on top, sooo?

Lol, consecutive images on ipdb:

I have an unshopped Pharaoh--it has a small flipper on the right side.

Looks like a flyer as a mini: http://flyers.arcade-museum.com/?page=flyer&db=pinballdb&id=637&image=4

I wonder how the gameplay differs between a regular and a mini flipper there.

I was just about to ask this, i've seen em both ways.

#11 6 years ago

That mini flipper just doesn't look right there.

Page 8 of Game manual shows mini flipper.
EDIT: it would seem using 2 big sized flippers would be easier..which is why many got changed over the years..plus prob more regular flippers around

It shipped with a mini flipper. Not surprising to see people have put a full size flipper bat up there to make the game easier.

FYI the game is still available!

Hope the bumps help it sell!

Black mini with yellow rubber??

That's one way I've never seen it!

Seriously...what a special flipper indeed!

#17 6 years ago

I put I Safecracker mini flipper on mine and took out the fatter, unmarked one. The Safecracker one matches the full size one much better with a better tapered end and the "W" logo.

#18 6 years ago

I wish I never sold mine... I love everything about this machine.

#19 6 years ago

Nice Pharaoh! If only I had some extra cash

Steelers flipper. Yuck

#22 6 years ago

Mini flipper on mine as well.

Bump for a great looking Pharoah!

#23 6 years ago

If you look at the wire rails behind the two upper flippers, they are the same length as each of the correct flippers. Standard, left one has a wire rail equal to the length, the right mini has a shorter rail equal to its length.

#24 6 years ago

I forgot to add - I installed brand new decals for all the drop targets. Thanks.

#25 6 years ago

Would love to have this one.

Shipping is an option!

#27 6 years ago

Played this at Pinball Pyramid a couple of weeks ago. Beautiful game and played great!

#28 6 years ago

Any way you could snap a pic of the bottom of the playfield where the hidden tomb kicker is? I'm struggling with one that has hacked wiring and it'd help me a ton.

#29 6 years ago

How the hell is this still available?
Would have sold 8 times in the Northeast by now.

One of the very best Williams sys 7's.
Free bump
