Selling my 1972 Gottlieb Flying Carpet.
I've had this for 2-3 years. In that time I've spent over 40 hours thoroughly going over the game as such:
** total cleaning of all the switches and switch stacks and tightening up all switch stacks.
** total disassemble and cleaning of the score motor
** total disassemble and cleaning of all the score reels, relays and step units.
** replaced all coil sleeves with new ones.
** total disassemble and cleaning of pop bumpers.
** check every light and replaced as necessary and soldered loose sockets. places some LED's in the Playfield inserts
and others as deemed necessary.
** triple thick cleared the backglass to prevent further flaking.
** cleaned cabinet and made new backbox door.
** new lock on coin door
** new rubber, ball and waxed playfield
** leveled some inserts on playfield that were warped and leveled plastics that were warped.
** new cord/plug to transformer.
I'm sure I'm forgetting other things I've done. The game plays as it should. Cabinet and backbox are original with
expected wear. Legs are in very nice condition with new levelers. Overall in very nice, super clean condition.
Game can be set for free play. You won't need to do a thing on this one.
** I can offer free delivery and set up in twin cities area. depending on stairs/steps help may be needed.
