PROJECT Flash for sale.

This machine is fairly nice overall but we never even plugged it together after getting all the parts for it. I had a nice body & playfield and a OK backglass. A buddy of mine found a good used empty head then we installed boards & a transformer from another similar machine into that head.

This was suppose to be one of our Winter projects but I am trying to free up some space so I decided to list it for sale as it sits. It shouldn't take a ton of work but boards & displays are untested at this point - it is priced accordingly.

When I pulled the backglass out and looked at it it wasn't as nice as I have thought it was so I am a little disappointed. On the other hand playfield is nicer than I thought so overall I still think $450 is fair for this machine. Corners on the base of the upper cabinet need a little love but I'll try to get them glued before a buyer picks it up if I can find time.

It has a board set from a System 6 machine (one system newer than the system 4 that is in most Flash machines). But according to IPDB and other sources later production of this machine used system 6 boards in them so all should be good as far as that goes.

Pictures of this machine will be posted in a couple hours. For those of you that keep offering crazy low prices on machines I have for sale because there are no pictures everything I have for sale is already prices at "fair prices". I do have a little wiggle room on some machines but I will not take $250 for a machine I have listed for $450 so please stop wasting my time replying to emails like that. As I have said dozens of times on various other threads - "I offer machines for sale I don't need to sell machines".

If someone local is interested in something I have for sale I do my best to work with them but I am not going to give a machine away just because someone wants to buy something for next to nothing. It is rare to see project machines for sale these days (at any price) so there is a decent demand for them. Typically I sell most machines I take to local shows and I know my prices are in line with current market values. So if you want to make an offer on something please keep that offer in a semi serious range!

The funny thing about Flash is it isn't a bad playing game - the issue is they made so darn many of them they are just too easy to find so no one really seems to look for them. I never worry when it comes to selling anything solid state these days. Two years ago who would have thought common Classic Bally project machines would be selling for over $1000 in nice cosmetic condition!

I just wish I had a little nicer backglass but since there are a ton of Flash machines and parts around a nicer backglass shouldn't be all that hard to find.

This is another machine I expect to be adding to my Allentown Show load but I figured I would get it listed here just in case someone local was looking for a cheaper project machine to work on over the Winter. It is likely I would have made out better just parting this one out instead of buying the empty head for the body I had and then having to fill that head with boards & a transformer. But the playfield was so nice I hated to just part it out even though I would have made twice the money doing that.

Price Reduced trying for a quick sale before moving this into the Allentown Show load later this week.

Enough other stuff sold that I didn't have to move this machine from the garage. It was actually SUPPOSE to be sold but I ran into an issue. I didn't realize I don't have the correct head harness for it. I am working on trying to find one of those right now but if someone wants a cheap Flash before I can find the head harness for it I would take $350 CASH as it sits.

I am not changing my listing price because I don't want that going back up if I find a head harness but I did want to take the "sale pending" off this listing since my deal didn't materialize without having the correct head harness for it. If you can grab it this weekend I would even do a little better on it and take $325 just to get it gone quickly.
