If only all Flash Gordon's were like the one he describes.

Quoted from Toasterdog:

Is this true? I thought they all had it. Mine does?

It's true. Not all had it. Mine does though.

The responses in this thread might have been enough for him to bump the price to $1500 from the original $875.

GLWS!

I had considered maybe buying this and one of the EMs he has for sale, but none of those titles interest me at all.

Now that the price has near doubled, I'm out.

Quoted from Aurich:

protecting a fellow pinsider from getting ripped off

If he's selling it for at least what he has into it, I don't see how that would be "ripped off".

#30 6 years ago

I paid near $2k for mine, but I'm all for somebody else getting a nice one for under a grand. Because that would have suited me fine as well.

In full defense of the op, he did check the box "open for offers". So it is up to him to accept whatever offer he desires, even if it is more than his asking price. Best offer means just that.

#35 6 years ago

He might be raising the listed price as the offers come in. It more or less becomes an auction of sorts when you include "open for offers" whether pinside likes it or not.

He could sell it for $300 and it wouldn't affect how I value mine. I just don't think about selling it.
