Condition: Used - shows wear but 100% working and clean

Price

$ 2,800 (Firm)

Price is firm

Nice FT with new rubber, plastics, decals, DMD, and LED's.

Decals applied by previous owner. Look nice but a few air bubbles.

Topper complete and works 100%

Recently had the shooter chrome plated. Looks awesome.

Fish inserts show a decent amount of wear, and look to have been touched up in the past. Game plays 100%.

I owned this game for a little while. I replaced the dmd also. It played great when I had it.

#7 7 years ago

I had a good chuckle when I scrolled down and saw this bump.

#8 7 years ago

Not sure what that means but glad you had a nice chuckle

He has an issue with your price...

Your inserts are shot. The blob of black paint to fill the holes is a no go... Your cabinet decals look delicious but your playfield is hard to bite.

#10 7 years ago

Yeah. They make a decal for that, but didn't really bother me.

As I stated above in the ad looks like someone tried to touch it up.

It's not CQ but an above average game.

It's not a $3k example and the playfield is way below average.

#13 7 years ago

Get it quick before spock or leeb18509

#14 7 years ago

Tiny wrinkles along the inferior border on the front bottom left. Barely noticeable and the most significant abnormality on the whole decal job. I also attached a picture of one of the "bubbles" I was talking about. Barely noticeable at the brown black interface.

Just trying to fully disclose things as some people are pretty anal about these things. For example, see above posts.

Boards and connectors look good. One repaired trace on the main board. Remote battery holder.

This is why...

You have a less than players condition machine. It is a beater, with poorly done decals as you admited. You have chunks of black paint on the playfield. This was not done in the past, unless you never played the game when you bought it. The thickness of the acrylic paint would chip off after a few games. As well the paint will wash out if it is ever waxed. The wax will dissolve the touch-up.

I agree with this. This is top dollar for a ft and this one is def not worth top dollar.

Just an opinion though. I hope you get in the high 2k range and good luck. Just being realistic.

#19 7 years ago

Wow people just won't let up on your price when a major project ft is advertised for $1725

Vulcans are really big into price policing. It's an ugly side of the race Star Trek has tried very hard to hide.

Appreciate your kind words. Maybe you are more into 6200 dollar fish tales. One is available.

No it was already like that and it hasn't been chipping. As stated game plays great but isn't perfect. Price is fair.

Yeah. Saw that. Confusing to me as well.

Throw a tackle box overlay on it and its good to go.

Nothing better then attacking a price and then ending with a passive aggressive glwts.

Oh you poor bastard, haha. Couldn't help yourself could ya? Still aching about that nib xmle thread I see. I don't blame ya. That's still sitting isn't it? Hmmm, wonder why?....

And I'll passively leave it at that, nothing better then a smart ass who knows in the back of his head the prices are ridiculous but is desperately on the defense about it.

Useless.

jgentry is a good guy. I don't know you and you may be a good guy as well, but above comments would lead me to believe you are a toolbox.

Keep your drama and profanity to yourself please. Just trying to sell a fun pretty nice machine.

I wondered why a FS thread would have so many comments. Kinda figured it would be for typical pricing-related dipshittery from people who aren't interested. He has pictures that allow anyone to judge whether or not the price is worth it--no need for the white knights of the pricing authority to show up and make a spectacle of it all. Move the hell along and drain the thread on your way out. Sheesh.

#31 7 years ago

A complete working topper is worth at least $600 if you can find one. Nice cabinet is also hard to find, like i say throw a $50 overlay and this would be nice machine.

#32 7 years ago

I actually enjoy the game more when the topper doesn't work.

That is insane. Buy a big mouth billy bass at a garage sale and save $595.

I owned one in the past, i just added a toggle switch so i could shut off the flopping fish.

You seem like a really good guy and are definitely a pricing expert. Ive got a baywatch for sale right now that I would appreciate some free bumps on. I'll be listing a Taxi soon that you are going to love the price on.

#43 7 years ago

In reference to garbage above in this thread:

If you are looking for a FT to take selfies with and put on Christmas cards this isn't your machine. But if you are looking for a complete, 100% working, pretty nice machine this could be it.

Merry Christmas
