Item description

Up for your consideration is a very special, all original like-new Fish Tales I purchased from Nick @ Planet 9 Pinball in Vegas last October and the story goes like this: In 1992 a woman surprised her husband on his birthday with a NIB Fish Tales. Sadly he passed away a few months later leaving the game untouched and unplayed until 2018.

After being thoroughly cleaned, it had new rubbers & LEDs installed along with a new color DMD. Otherwise everything is original and works 100%. Includes original goodie bag with extra plastics, manual etc. Audit of games played is 110 a/o [phone number removed] If you're in the market for the best, cleanest original CQ FT, you've found it.

Price is what I paid for it so just looking to break even.

Please let me know if you'd like me to provide any specific photos I may have not taken. Thanks for looking!

GLWS. If I didn't own one on similar condition I would be all over this. Rare to see games from this era in that kind of original condition.

Very nice looking example...

Is your boat plastic broken? Tips chipped off at the screws? I have an example that’s very nice as well - with a great HUO story and related documentation - but my plastic is broken at the tips. I think it’s common.

I hope yours sells for this price.

#11 4 months ago

On inspection it does not seem like the boat plastic is chipped.

Appreciate the kind words. Truly is a time capsule. Lots of interest from people who regret having sold their FT. I wonder if I'll bet in the same camp.

Gryszzz, I WOULD say 'yes', but this is another keeper for me. It is replacing a VERY nice one I already have, which will be for sale in not too long. Believe it or not, Indianapolis is part of my regular drive (I have business in Ohio and go as far as Pennsylvania/Maryland pretty regularly), so maybe I end up bringing my old one to your door in the coming months.

And, I'm just having fun with 'Pinlawyer'. Great guy and a top collector.
