Quoted from RTS:I think Firepower is a really great game, especially in its day. But its day was over 40 years ago.
When you start pushing the price to $6k, there are just too many other games that provide a ton more to do at a similar pricepoint.
One can try to justify the price by how much was spent restoring, but that is not how a buyer determines the value.
Firepower is a cool game, but it's still just a step above an EM in depth.
Will disagree. I've owned hundreds of pins and a well tuned Firepower always gets me coming back for more. The game is magical. He may get the price to the right buyer or a decent offer. Many people with crazy money are becoming pin owners for the 1st time. They want a game they liked when growing up and works and plays 100%. The cost as crazy as it sounds is secondary to many 1st time pin owners.
