Looks pretty good for it's age.
Repainted the legs and installed new leg levelers.
Perfect backglass.

Love the skillshot on fireball! PinballManiac40 is a great seller!!

#3 8 years ago

Skill shot is sweet, is it a second piece of playfield or is it just all one piece?

Based on the one I had, it was one piece with routed wood "bent" into the skill shot area.

Bent....that is pretty cool. Sure there aren't too many games that were made like that.

So true. Fireball comes with a unique flavor. The only EM my pinball friends appreciate.

Any locals around want to come by and give it some test plays Christmas day after 7pm?

#8 8 years ago

I have seen this machine in person, and it is an extremely nice example of Fireball.

#9 8 years ago

Come on...I need a good challenger on Fireball.

#10 8 years ago

There are not many better games than Fireball in all of pinball. Lucky to have mine.

Sweet game GLWS.

Thank you Captive_Ball and fish1975tx for the challenge on Fireball last night. Sure is one mean playing game. Even with 5 balls per game is sure hard to get a good high scoring game.

48630 is the high score for the night by me. Woohoo!!

#13 8 years ago

My best is 5k less than that PM40!

#14 8 years ago

I need to read up on changing it to 3 balls per game.

But where?

#17 8 years ago

I never did roll Fireball when I had it. Some 93,000 or so if I remember right. Nice looking example. GLWS!

#18 8 years ago

Thank you. 93000 was on 3 ball ?

I think it was 5, but I switched it to 3 and never looked back. After that 50k was a darn good score.

Got to play a few more games last Saturday. Really like the skill shot concept on this machine.

Here's my 14 year old sons 5 ball score. He plays it every day. It's the best.

Glad to see I can still keep up with the 14 year olds.

One of the best e.m.'s . Fantastic artwork-spinning disc-zipper flippers-multi ball. Fireball and Nitro Groundshaker were 2 of my favorite backglasses
