Game - pre-order spot

For sale: Fathom (Mermaid Edition) - Price Reduced

Added: 2022-12-07 00:38:17 UTC • Ended: December 12th, 2022
Condition: Pre-order/reservation for a game

Price

$ 10,500 (OBO)

Open for offers

Item description

I was an early purchaser of this game. Unfortunately I need to sell it to make room for the other 3 games that I have pre-ordered.

The game has been paid in full and will ship in the next month or so. You will have the option of the free shipping to the US or to upgrade to DHL.

Yes, I realize that I'm asking for more than the list price. The game is sold out and I took all the risk in pre-ordering from a fairly unknown company. Feel free to make an offer.

Your risk doesn’t necessarily translate to a price increase on our end.

#3 3 months ago

Game is spectacular and simply gorgeous. And a rare one indeed!

The game isn’t in hand yet so I don’t think you have taken all the risk yet

#6 3 months ago

How much was the price on this?

#8 3 months ago

I’d be a smart ass and offer $8901 but honestly I can’t afford that either .

Looks like you're going to have 4 pins coming.

Hey give this guy some credit.....he checked the box to allow comments. Balls.

Fantastic pin.
As for selling over the list price - why do people object to capitalism only when it pertains to pinball machines?
the market will determine the price....

G-R-E-E-D.
has over inflated prices in this hobby.
Bought for 9K selling for 13.5k.
Lots of pin consumers over seas are complaining about a 20K James Bond... This shit is why we are here.

#14 3 months ago

I would consider this at 10k, but only by Christmas. Im only half joking though as it really is a stunning game and I would like one.

Supply and demand has over inflated prices ... coupled with high inflation. The Covid world has much to answer for!

It's not greed, new games are getting this price. Tbl is this price, and this game is more rare. Restored fathoms are getting 8k, and I believe this is worth more. If I don't get a little profit then I'll keep the game. It's definitely worth more than the pre-order price. I'm open to offers.

The price is hard to fathom.

I can't believe people are busting balls on a very hard to get/limited game like this... Look at all of the other limited edition/hard to get games that sell for ridiculous money and check yourself. Not that I agree with buying just to flip, I don't play that game... but when people were flipping TBL's, MMr Royales, Stern LE's, etc., this doesn't seem out of line to me.

One thing I was curious about is just how many people have paid Haggis in advance and are waiting on games, given that they were initially told they would pay when the game was ready to ship, and it appears that Haggis has full payment up front on at least a dozen machines from my estimates, so $100K up front.. take away what you want from that, but I'd hate to be at the end of the line.

They would have got the same treatment with comments enabled. People hate the scalping.

The additional code is what makes this game so special and you get to choose before you play a game either the “classic version” or the new version.
I wish this game was in more people’s’ hands to understand the amazing color changing rgb lighting, additional code, additional scoring screen plus to added graphics depending on what mode your in, new sound package for the new version and many other items. All of which most people won’t people won’t be able to truly appreciate unless you played one in person. This is a special machine.
I would not sell it if I were you but it’s your call.
Glwts!

No, Scared Stiff is one of the best pins there is.

it is very choice. I have a STtNG but that just doesnt bring in enough coin for me to justify being out 24k on 2 games that may take months to arrive. Dang..if I only won the powerball I wouldn't care so much.

"Taking the risk" might involve the OP taking delivery on it here in the US then selling it. Just my 2 cents FWIW.

Yup. Who knows what “a month or so” really means, particularly when it comes to a small company that’s halfway around the world.

Seller, you’d be in a much better position with game in hand.
