Quoted from thierryv:Thanks Bonzo ,
Seems like the exchange rate affect the purchase intention in a bad way
Yeah that and you have Stern just releasing Avengers to a lot of fan fare and JJP is announcing today GnR so you have folks waiting to see that title.
Th, you given any thought to breaking them up as opposed to keep dropping the price? I would think there's more buyers out there that would want one as opposed to both machines (i.e. someone already owns a Fathom and want Centaur or vice versa).
Nonetheless BUMP
Quoted from isJ:Yes.. if only somebody out there owned a Fathom and wanted a Centaur..

Exactly! But as a seller selling both at the same time is a bonus as it makes it a lot easier. However, these are two of the most sought after Bally games of this era! Would be best to have prices for individual sale and then offer a discounted price if someone would buy both at the same time.
Quoted from sulli10:They were in the USA, I am a buyer.
Look into shipping as you may be surprised as to the cost. When I purchased a Fathom from the seller it wasn't that much more then if I were to ship a game from the West Coast to the East Coast. Also being the you're buying two it's a little cheaper then buying one. Lastly, you don't pay tax as you're shipping a machine that was manufactured in the US back into the US.
When I purchased I went through Freightcenter.com. I shopped around for the cheapest rate and then wound up going back to freightcenter with the lowest quote and they matched it. The good thing with them was, they did all the paperwork related to the shipping.
If you want to look into it the rep I used was Shannon Donahue [email protected]
Quoted from sulli10:Thanks for the info. No reflection on the seller but, I would not want to take the shipping risk from outside the USA. Probably, not a problem but not one I could get comfortable with.
Yeah l completely understand as I was the same way. Wound up just doing it and to my surprise I had absolutely no issues. I shipped it by boat so the overall time it took to get to me was about a month. The box itself didn't have a single crease or mark on it. Even had the OP put a few bottles of beer in it .... figured if the machine got messed up I would least have a few good beers to drink! Of course we all know shipping is a roll of the dice!
