Game - for sale

For sale: Excalibur (Gottlieb, 1988)

Added: 2016-05-09 22:01:21 UTC • Ended: November 23rd, 2016
Condition: Fully shopped/refurbished

Price

$ 1,700

Really clean Excalibur for sale. Game has been fully shopped with rubbers, balls, wax etc. I re flowed the solder on the power board which fixes the common sound problem. Display is nice and bright! NOS translight that's signed by John Trudeau. Pf is really nice with only slight wear where the ball enters and where the ball drops, neither are visible from player point of view. Crack in ramp in upper left, has metal protector on it. Plays real good. Includes manual. Game is located in Richland, WA but will be at the NW Pinball/ Arcade show and can bring for no extra money. Will upload photos later today. 1700 OBO

Great game for anyone that likes this era of GTB 80b games. Goes great alongside tx sector and robowar!

The price point is not bad but shipping kills it for me. Last one I missed was nice shape and 1200.00 this game continues to evade me

Last nice one i saw was 2200 fwiw. Pretty common to need to ship when dealing with rare titles.

#5 7 years ago

I've paid for shipping for rare titles, and condition is king on price, so until there are some pics showing condition there will be few interested buyers.

The white squiggly line on the backbox is some sort of string. Just noticed, sorry.

#8 7 years ago

looks pretty nice, but may want to post more and less fuzzy photos to help.

Yeah, I'm actually not at the pin right now. About 4 hours away, have to rely on dad for pics of it. I'll see if I can get some close ups.

#10 7 years ago

Fuzzy or not, seems like a very nice machine!

I can, yes.

Some unusual circumstances have made this for sale again. I would rather have a buyer come and look at it before buying. I had never noticed before, but there has been some repair done to the back of the cabinet. It is still very sturdy, just letting people know. Thanks!

So we got a price drop coming? This is a fun game and different.

not sure why you would expect a price drop? still a solid price on a super fun game!

It says OBO, so make an offer. Life's too short to wait for price drops when you could be rockin' Excalibur

#20 7 years ago

Did you have this for sale at NWPAS? I didn't see a sign or notice on the bulletin board. Seems like there were several machines like this for sale at the show (or right after) but not really publicized there.

#21 7 years ago

Glad my bump got this game some attention, great seller, great game, someone should buy it!

The game was at the show. Due to the weird and rather unfortunate circumstances, I didn't know if it was for sale at the show. I had a buyer but the USPS lost the money order he was sending me. Due to this and due to me needing the money, the interested party gave me the go ahead to sell it. I didn't know this until after the show. I feel like the price is still fair so no price drops as of yet, however it is OBO so feel free to make me an offer. Thanks folks!

$1700 is a solid price? Since when... after you bought it. Completed Ebay sales disagree with you.

I think you should refine your ebay searches.

We are not talking about this one
ebay.com link: Excalibur 159 Vibrating Pinball II

I dont think I have seen a real excalibur on ebay for years. This is the rarest of all the 80B games that are desirable. I bought one over 2 years ago after 2 years of looking for one.

Atleast take the time to link up sales if you think the price is off.

Please dont tell me you are looking at Boston Pinball and using that as your ebay reference. LOL if so. Thise 4 sales are from 4+ years ago and were not functional games.

#25 7 years ago

Sold a nice one in December 2011 for $575, boy was I a dummy. Definitely a rare game and beautiful, that's about all I can say about it. Prices have doubled or better since then, especially rare games.

Bump for a really fun game that few have played. If you enjoy robowar, tx, genesis, etc... Then you will really like excalibur.

Super fun and unique game play.

Wish you were closer bump. Anyone driving from WA to WI?

Super fun and unique game play.

You know, this is one pin I couldn't get in. I'll preface this by saying I only put about a half dozen games on it.

Weird part is... I'm a Premier fanboy and trying to amass a full 80B collection.

I might have to give Excalibur another play.

Bump for op

Great themed game ...sold mine due to lack of room. Only thing I wish it would have is a diverter like say shadow. Bump for seller, rare game.

interesting. Did you learn the ruleset/ MB/ jackpot build and collect rules?

I find it to have a really well balanced risk/reward factor.

Probably the best all time drop target game imho.

#36 7 years ago

I'm seriously considering this if shipping is an option...

#37 7 years ago

I have seen this game in person and played it recently. Fun game and good looking too. Somebody is going to be a happy pinhead.

Good game, good seller bump.

Thanks for all the kind words and bumps!
