Game - for sale

For sale: El Dorado (Gottlieb, 1975)

Added: 2016-09-18 02:50:54 UTC • Ended: September 19th, 2016
Condition: Fully restored (full original status)

Price

$ 1,375

Fully restored El Dorado wedgehead. Unquestionably one of the best playing drop target games from the 70's. Add a great art package with a great ruleset with resetting drop targets and a roving special, and you have a classic. In my personal top five wedgeheads from the 70's.

I have cleaned and adjusted the following, including replacing parts where needed:

Steppers
Score reels
Flippers
Pop Bumpers
Kickers
Drop target assembly
Chime Unit
Score motor
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.

New 47 bulbs, rubber rings, and ball.

Backglass, playfield, and cabinet were tastefully touched-up. Playfield has 3 coats of carnuba wax. It is not clearcoated.

Includes schematic

Quoted from gosepin:

Beautiful machine. I was able to play it awhile back. Hoov is a great guy, deal with confidence.
Good luck with the sell. If I didn't already have one this would be mine.

Thanks!

The game you played was my El Dorado in my collection. This is a double I'm selling. I think it plays a little better than mine!

Quoted from Aurich:

If you were local I'd consider selling my Abra Ca Dabra to fund this, be a fun swap. Great game.
