El Dorado City of Gold project. I recently picked this up and it needs more work than I have time for. I plugged it in and it lights up, but that's it. Inside the cabinet there is a button held down with a flipper rubber and if you remove it, the game won't light up. It looks like it would be the test button, though I'm not familiar with these System 80 games.
The good is that the playfield has mylar so there is no wear. The cabinet paint is in excellent condition, though a corner will need to be clamped and glued. The coin door is in great shape and has full coin mechs.
The bad is that it doesn't run, and the backglass is starting to peel quite a bit and has been touched up. Because the graphics are so dark, it could be sealed and painted and look somewhat respectable. I can see where someone already painted some of it.
Asking $500 or best offer. I'm also open to trades where I can add cash for a Dimension, Evel Knievel, or Bally Star Trek.
