I know mike personally. Good friend. Good seller. A little zany, but a good guy nonetheless.

Oh, and don't trade him a bad cats for this. Sell it to ME instead.

Just throwing this out there for the dual addicted collectors like myself.

I would trade for select arcade games. Just thease listed please, not interested in others at the moment, must be in origanal cabinets no multi game crap.

Starwars, bud tapper, taito crazy climber, lunar lander, red baron. Dot, tron.root beer tapper.

No interest in Paragon but thanks for the great offer,

I would love a spectrum, I'd even include the rotten dog driver and a brand new rectifier board with that.

Any chance of posting some more pics of playfield? preferably the upper half if possible

#29 7 years ago

There are3 versions of EBD, the 81, LE and the 83. Some say that the 83 is the best of the lot but I don't really know the difference between the 81 and 83 other than art. The LE is quite different and not as pretty. Hopefully someone who knows these games can chime in.

#30 7 years ago

IMO, the 83 version would be the least desirable, (particle board cabinet).

Another difference between the 81 and 83...The 81 used individual insert lamp sockets (44 style), the 83 went w/ lamp boards, (555 style).

Myself, I kind of like the LE cabinet. It tends to "stand out in a crowd" when surrounded by the typical pinball cabinet pins. I do like the larger backglass, compared to the LE though.

#31 7 years ago

Yeah those lamp boards suck. My LE has them and I have no idea how to trouble shoot the 1-2 lamps that are shotty. I've replaced the sockets to no avail.

I can fix the lamps for you next time I'm over.

#44 style? I wish!!! The '81 also used 555 lamps, just with individual sockets throughout. And a different harness arrangement for the large Drop Target bank (connector).

Mine was assembled at the factory with Red posts which I much prefer over the blue ones.

My mistake...

You're correct...those individual sockets are 555 style.

555s are terrible imo, went to leds this weekend they were a bitch to get in, super tight

I swapped all the 555's on my Fathom when I did the restore and will do it on my EBD when I get to it. I hate 555's!
