1971 Gottlieb "Drop-A-Card" for sale. This game is 100% complete mechanically, but is being sold as a working "project", and would make a great candidate for restoration.
If activating the "start relay" on the inside lower bottom board, the game will start and cycle through a complete game. But it doesn't start a game by pressing the start button on the front coin door. Also, the score reels and drop targets could use some cleaning and adjusting as they sometimes stick, and the "special" rollovers don't light up when all targets are down.
The cabinet is original and is structurally sound, has been nicely repainted, with just the normal scuffs and scrapes. Inside of the cabinet and backbox are both very clean with no rust.
The playfield is in very nice shape, just dirty, but should clean up nicely. The inserts are all present and level. Playfield pop bumper caps are decent and all original. The plastics are nice and are original. The drop targets are all present and in great shape.
The front coin door and coin entry plate have some slight surface rust on them.
The backglass is original, shows only minor fading, but has no peeling/paint loss.
All wedgehead games will come with a nice set of either metal legs of correct length, as appropriate.
