Condition: Fully shopped/refurbished

Item description

"Come on, try me" - Diamond Lady. One of the unicorns of Gottlieb pinball, 1988's Diamond Lady is up for your consideration! A fun game with a unique layout and cool ruleset, with two ball save functions and a 2-ball multiball, and a plunge award feature strikingly similar to what Stern put on World Poker Tour 2 decades later. The soundtrack to this game is probably my favorite from this era of Gottlieb, the quintessential late 80's arcade sound.

I've done a ton of work on this game, some of the highlights include completely shopping it out, LED's in the inserts and upper playfield (GI's in the bottom I leave incandescent), left ramp was replaced, added a capacitor for memory storage, and an extra switch to give the ability to add credits at the initials button (this era of games do not have a free play setting). No board hacks (I replaced 2 transistors but otherwise clean). Very strong and fast playing (check the video), the display is perfect. Normal dings to the cabinet from years in the wild but nothing terrible, the playfield is in great shape (why didn't all pinball machines use these vitrograph playfields?). It comes with all of the original paperwork and the original manual too!

I am open to trade options as well, see my wish list (though feel free to throw ideas at me).

gundam_pilot_ for sure, besides yours at Cleveland I have never seen one in my 10-ish years of collecting! BTW I have run this in a couple of tournaments in Pittsburgh with great success.

Yeah, when I got mine, it was only the 2nd one I have seen/played. Despite the BG being ugly AF, the playfield art IS NOT as equally bad. And the light shows, deep system 80B sounds like TX/Robowar are great. I think the sound package is really what sets this game apart. Plus the game is always in good condition because they are all Vitrigraphed playfields. Again a great game for someone to snatch up thats really looking for a good "players" type game

Underrated game. I've always enjoyed playing the Virtual Pin version and can't wait to get my physical game actually playing. -I picked up a project DL a few months back. The rules on this game are what make it really shine. Really fun to get your playfield multiplier built up to 8X and rip that left figure 8 spinner. The game feels loaded compared to other games of that era with all the drops and other features. How hard is it to get just all the Diamonds down and double your score? Good luck with the sale!
