It has gotten so bad with the number of people agreeing to buy a pin and then backing out (not only your sale, it is occurring everywhere), seller should charge buyer a non-refundable $500 fee upon agreement to buy the pin, balance at time of pickup. That way you are better covered and maybe buyers won't be so fickle.
Day 0
Buyer - I want your game, consider it sold.
You - I am selling to first party with money. If you are sure you want it, I will sell it to you and will hold it for a $500 non-refundable deposit. Balance is due in one week. If machine doesn't live up to ad and you don't want it, then deposit will be returned.
Buyer - ok and sends money.
Day 1
Buyer - I don't want the game any more. I decided to buy a tiddlywinks cuddly wuddly instead.
You - Sorry to hear that and I'll relist the game right away. Unfortunately the deposit is non-refundable. Hopefully we both learned something about ourselves today. Bye.
