Quoted from spidey:

Can you box it up as fast as you unboxed it? Wait, the box was destroyed...

Hey now there’s an idea!

Quoted from Coolpinballdino:

That did not last long pin stadiums look nice in it GLWTS Zach.

Thanks man yeah it helps a lot for me when playing in the dark

#8 5 years ago
Quoted from J85M:

Surprised to see this up for sale so fast, must be one of your quickest turn arounds, just not gelling with you? Either way GLWS dude!

SDTM review should drop tonight or tomorrow

#14 5 years ago
Quoted from TheGunnett:

I got sick of waiting for Pirates and bought a Premium Maiden that I plan on selling in a month for a few hundred less than I paid for it, but if I could rent a game for a month for $400 , I’d do that in a heartbeat.

If you want to spend $400 a month to rent a game I need to find a way to make that happen

#46 5 years ago
Quoted from frankmac:

I am perplexed that manufactures do not send you new releases to play for reviews. 3-4 weeks why not.

Now that sounds like a damn fine idea! Now if we can just convince the manufacturers....probably should have tried this tactics before I purchased a 9500 dollar potc hahaha

Quoted from chuckwurt:

I heard Zach is on the payroll of every pinball company and his sole job description is to create biased reviews of all games, and sell their games shortly after buying them.
For what reason? I don’t know, but this Deadpool is for sale because he is contractually obligated to sell it.
I also heard supreme is next and he’s not allowed to have it more than a day.
I also heard that if he ever puts mustard on a hotdog his employment will be terminated.

Hahahaha I love this. Honestly though we would love to review a Supreme machines.

Quoted from jgentry:

I'm surprised this leaked so quickly. Since it's out I'll just drop the info though. Zach's first pinball design will be at tpf along with deep roots other 4 new games. Fully playable and available to buy within 1-2 months.

You know you’d buy my pinball machine.

#47 5 years ago

Thanks for the comments everyone. Couple guys wanting to pick it up in a week or two, but I haven’t committed to any yet. Come pick it up this weekend and start playing!

#60 5 years ago
Quoted from Tilt:

Yes he did sell his ACNC spot, but not at cost either, I talked with the guy that bought it at a show last month and he said he paid a premium for the spot because he didn't want to wait till his original number in the 300's

Yeah I’m not trying to lose money. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. SDTM will continue buying new games when the opportunity arises to get them quick for review. That’s just what we try to provide to the community. We would love for manufacturers to work with us on this, but as of right now, that ain’t happening so I have to buy them. I still want ACNC, but decided to go the Pirates route after seeing some stuff I didn’t like about early ACNC presentation. The guy I sold the spot to is a great dude and he had #60-70 or something and wanted one a little quicker. Deal worked for both of us, neither really losing money or making money.

Quoted from Tilt:

I dont fully agree with you on this, I highly doubt that there is a loss on the game. With the youtube channel and sponsers he now has, I highly doubt he is losing, but he isn't really making anything either. But at least he probably breaks even or makes a little doing something that he really enjoys

Oh and I wish YouTube would make us money. For reference, I believe a thousand or so views on a video earns us a dollar or two haha. T-shirt sales helps us get to different shows and upgrade equipment.

Speaking of, Deadpool review will showcase our newest design and is a tribute to our fans. Make sure to check it out hopefully today!

#68 5 years ago
Quoted from Doctor6:

So Zach, wait... are you doing this for us to get reviews out or not? By the sounds of it you only plan to get games that are good for you to play a while and then review as a side note.

Both. New games need reviews. Older games I usually buy are ones I want to play because I haven’t put much time on them. For example, I’d love a Time Machine but have no clue whether I’d own it for a week or six months. None near me to play so I’d pick it up and give it a whirl. Record an overview and wait until greg can put time on one if he hasn’t already

#89 5 years ago
Quoted from kevindrives:

does this come with an autograph photo of you in the unboxing outfit? Or is that extra.
asking for a friend

For you absolutely haha

Quoted from Guinnesstime:

They're just ridiculously expensive though. Although, they're cheap to make. I'd use my room's lightswitch as an alternative.

Ugh that’s no fun haha do you watch movies in a brightly lit room too?

Quoted from iceman44:

Zach, take a trip up to Chicago on a weekend to play and review the games
Problem solved and money saved!

11hr round trip, hotel and gas, angry wife, noisy environments, quarters spent....Im good at home.

Quoted from jellikit:

Here is to this thread not going STRAIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE and GLWS!

I love this. Where’s the pic of terrified Greg in the passenger seat, wearing a scarf haha.

Quoted from frankmac:

Free advertising of a new to market pin to let somebody use it for 3-4 weeks and advertise the shit out of it is a no brainer.
They get a pin back in mint shape and don’t lose a dime.

I hope they have the same sentiment some day.

#92 5 years ago
Quoted from TheGunnett:

Stern/JJP/ Spooky would not like it if “they” gave negative reviews. That’s how to stay impartial and unbiased! I believe that’s why Jack Danger never reviews and comments on his favorites, etc.

Very true, however I will say that American Pinball and JJP welcomed us regardless of our resulting reviews. I like that

#96 5 years ago
Quoted from jgentry:

I told stern what you said about WNBJM. You will never be welcome there now.

You just had to go and ruin my day thanks

#98 5 years ago
Quoted from FalconDriver:

He should have wore it when sipping that white wine during the review! Great review btw and glws!

Thanks Falcon!!

#100 5 years ago

I guess no one wants a Deadpool? You could be playing it tonight!

#107 5 years ago
Quoted from ccbiggsoo7:

next time you will put game up for sale before you review it!

Well that wouldn’t be honest now would it. Gotta give the people what they want

#113 5 years ago
Quoted from iceman44:

You should offer personal delivery and setup for a local sale Zach!
I don’t get why someone locally doesn’t grab this deal

I’ve driven before and I’ll do it again. I’m a man of the people Ice you know this. Haha

#119 5 years ago
Quoted from TheLaw:

It's a new game and you basically saving a couple of hundo (depending on distro) and not getting a NIB, so it really isn't that shocking at all.
GLWS

And a fair price would be?

#124 5 years ago
Quoted from adamross:

My distro is selling nib for 5300, but that doesn't come with the SDTM stamp.

Please share because I thought minimum was 5600 on them

#129 5 years ago
Quoted from adamross:

My bad, it's a floor model so not NIB.

Sounds like you need to talk distributor down a bit and take it home haha. Tell em you don’t wanna pay 5300 for all those greasy fingers being on it.

Quoted from kklank:

This is a good seller and a very fun machine. Glwts.

Thanks buddy!

#144 5 years ago
Quoted from Rasavage:

GLWTS. Someone should grab it, not much sanctum wear on this pin.

No dirty sanctum here haha

#162 5 years ago

What has this become? Man over here just trying to sell a Deadpool hahaha

#172 5 years ago
Quoted from TheGunnett:

What has better odds? Selling a Deadpool in Indiana ( given the current cost of living , mentioned earlier in this thread) or receiving a JJPOTC before Halloween?
I’m saying 80/20

(Sobbing) Nnnnoooooooooo!!!!!

Quoted from chuckwurt:

Stationary. It’s a bank shot. It’s very very hard to do it.

I hit the snkt shot easier than I do the katana ramp shot

#175 5 years ago
Quoted from chuckwurt:

Your katana ramp must need serious dialing then. Haha

It’s likely just the player

Quoted from Ericc123:

Poor Zach, talk about kicking a guy when he's down. Don't worry man you'll get your JJPOTC someday.

WHERES MY EFFIN JJPOTC?!?! Haha. All good things come to those who wait? Well that guy’s full of shit.

#177 5 years ago
Quoted from Gunnut40:

It does not help the local barcade has this. Why buy the cow when the cheap milk is for sale close?

What if the milk you’re going to get is sour?

#185 5 years ago
Quoted from Gunnut40:

Don't worry I'll still buy a cows from you. Every one knows your cows are the best!

Ahhh thanks Gunnut. You know, my milkshake brings all the girls to the yard

#193 5 years ago
Quoted from FalconDriver:

Man, how is this thing still for sale. Z, you need to autograph the playfield,
translite or something!

I’m with, well guess I need to reduce it.

100 OFF BUMP

#198 5 years ago
Quoted from Dkjimbo:

It’s the “middle of nowhere” factor. If this was within 60 miles of any populous city it would be gone. Look at the marketplace! Loaded with great games in Utah, remote parts of the northeast, Wyoming, it’s just a “shipping only” type deal and unless the prices are discounted heavily to offset the $500ish cost of shipping, they tend to sit.

I’m within a couple hours of Indianapolis, Louisville, Nashville, St. Louis, and Cincinnati

#216 5 years ago

Nope still sitting waiting for someone to buy and start playing.

#237 5 years ago
Quoted from ezelljon:

Which one is Zach? Is he the likable one? I thought these dorks lived in Buffalo.

Says the guy with a Motordome on his wishlist

Quoted from Yelobird:

No Greg is the one everyone likes. Zach is the snarky side kick that likes to slap his friend for being insubordinate! lol Zach is the one with the dark sun tan from being under those Pin Stadium lights all the time. lol

Only half of this is true

Quoted from Leachdude:

Why has it not sold? It's only $400 off retail delivered to your door NIB. This deal is good for his neighbor but not for anyone that would need to travel to pick up the machine. As soon as a local decides to buy one it should sell.

Dang 400 is a lot of money to me

#245 5 years ago
Quoted from jgentry:

That's poors talk for big rollers like you Zach.

Oh yeah you’re one to talk.

Quoted from chuckwurt:

Leave Motordome alone, Austin Powers.

Hey that’s a fun game, baby, yeah!

Quoted from ectobar:

Based solely on gameplay I'll take DP over Shoot The Castle all day.

Yeah, no haha

#252 5 years ago
Quoted from Yelobird:

As a Minor assist to the SDTM team that buy these games to give us an informative evaluation of gameplay (and several laughs) The Mod Couple would like to contribute a Deadpool Custom Shooter plate and a Custom Speaker illumination kit with 3D talking bubbles to the new owner. Give your Pro a Premium look. Just have Zach let us know who the lucky new owner is and we will ship them out no cost. This offering was not requested nor owed we simply wanted to support a team that has given so much back to the community! Hopefully Zach won't mind us sticking our nose into the Extremely Long FS add. lol Such an AWESOME game!!!
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Holy crap!!! Makes me almost wanna keep it. Freaking The Mod Couple is the best you guys. Make sure to continue supporting them to up the looks and functionality of your machines. Best mods in the business. Wow I’m humbled by such a kind gesture.

Now let’s get this thing sold!

#257 5 years ago
Quoted from Grizlyrig:

A little off topic but due to post #251, I was very moved by "The Mod Couples" gesture in supporting Zach and SDTM. So to help return the gesture I placed an order with The Mod Couple for the Black Knight ramps.
One hand washes the other. GLWTS
-Mike
[quoted image]

Hey thanks man and good call on the BK Ramps those are killer! Mod Couple are good people and that’s what pinball is all about, having great friends.....ahhhhhhhh.....now someone buy this freaking DP killer deal

#274 5 years ago
Quoted from Waxx:

Deadpool is fun but every new Stern is “the most played game in my collection”. Get back to me in twenty years. Yes I own MM and it’s not the greatest game but it is great.
Very off topic and personal preference is all that matters. I don’t love MET but it’s a great game. Different Strokes.
GLWS Zach, you’re a standup guy doing way more than necessary for the community.

Thanks as always Waxx!

#275 5 years ago

Just finished a conversation with a guy who wanted to buy this machine for 4200. Decided he’d just wait until they release the Deadpool 2 pinball machine that was about to come out because it was cheaper.....This was a pinball vendor guys. Smh. Couple mid 4s offers so because of the good laughs,

$5100. That’s essentially a $675 savings when you add in the generous Mod Couple mods or a $750 savings with the Pin Stadium package added.

Not gonna lie, I’m starting to reconsider the whole early video Review model haha

#280 5 years ago
Quoted from Doctor6:

Mods that not many people are requesting yet being forced to sorta pay for. You're asking just a smidge less than getting a new one shipped to a home. High 4s doesnt sound super unreasonable.

Forced to pay for? Please explain

#281 5 years ago
Quoted from TheLaw:

You're seeing now mods don't add a ton, that's just life.
It isn't your review, the game itself just isn't causing that much of a buzz I don't think; and they're too many choices out there. If this where an IMDN at the same time frame I bet it would have been gone.
TTT

No Law I’m saying I’m second guessing buying a machine just to do a review.

#288 5 years ago
Quoted from Doctor6:

..... okay
The price is justified because of the mods. All I am saying is it's a few hundred less than getting NIB delivered to your door.

A $500 box hahaha

Quoted from ASOA:

You are way more tolerant then I am. If someone tried offering me low to mid 4s on the latest title that is HUO and in perfect condition I would have hung up the phone very quickly. Deadpool is a good game. People just want to take advantage of a situation. Deadpool is selling well with Distributors and doing fantastic on route. People have made this for sale thread into something that it should have never become. Not fair to the guy that shelled out thousands of dollars for the love of pinball. Dont drop this another penny. Start a new for sale ad and do not allow comments. Game would have sold a long time ago.
Low Ballers

Thank you for the kind words. We gotta keep this thread going ASOA it’s way too fun to kill it now.

#289 5 years ago

I guess I could really fire people up by trying to sell an Iron Maiden cab I have with corner seem damage. I sure in the hell don’t know what to do with it.

#295 5 years ago
Quoted from finnflash:

How about you take my gotg for it, and sell that one. Im joking, unless you want to do it. Lol!

If it was a premium or LE I may consider it bc I miss GOTG but don’t want another pro. Come and get it Flash!

Quoted from davijc02:

Only time I’ve seem you have a Pin for sale this long was when you were trying to sell Rob Zombie.

Starting to feel that way for sure

#297 5 years ago
Quoted from Vino:

Zach, we know the answer.
Someone’s driving for the DP pf in a IMDN cab.
Either way, Im reading a pretty good deal here.
[quoted image]

That’s it! Someone buy the machine and we will swap cabs and make it a Rat Rod. DP pf and head, IMDN cab. Hell I’ll throw a Tron translite in there too to really mod it out haha

#303 5 years ago
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:

Here’s a question while we pass time ... if the guy who offered 4.1k were to have a change of heart and now offer 5.1k. Would you:
A) Accept his full price offer
B) Reject his full price offer and tell him to shove it, because you won’t deal with him
C) Never hear his offer because you’ve blocked his number and email
I am a type A person, but I don’t think he’d offer full price, so I wouldn’t expect to hear from him

A) let’s not get crazy, but I wouldn’t budge on price.

#307 5 years ago
Quoted from Whysnow:

you can charge for mods...
just rarely will people pay for them.
I have found that the only mods people regularly pay for are colorDMD and invisiglass. Both which are also easily removed and returned to original condition.

Don’t forget Pin Stadium Lights Hilton

#314 5 years ago
Quoted from Whysnow:

I just dont care for it, find it to be worthless and anytime I need to remove a worthless mod from a game then I am not going to pay for it and would prefer to pay less.
I know that can be hard to comprehend for all the pinstadium sponsored shills, but just my opinion man.
If you want to pay for shipping and my time to remove the junk, I would be happy to take them out of any future game I get and send them along. More than likely they will continue to go promptly in the trash.

I will happily buy them man just let me know

#317 5 years ago

I’m about to put a set on a Grand Prix EM. That must make you cringe.

#321 5 years ago
Quoted from Whysnow:

I can assure you that all games are easily seen and adding Pinstadium would not even closely justify the price-tag, may even cause a decrease in play. Would definitely cause more time/work as the few location I have seen with them added regularly have them falling off and causing ball hangups.
Trust me, adding some blinding lights to a game is not going to add to play count.

Not the thread for me to debate (though I’d love to haha), but I think you’re off base here honestly. You know it too. An addams family in a dark bar sure as hell gets more plays with Pin stadiums on it. Even people who don’t like the product couldn’t argue with that.

#329 5 years ago
Quoted from TheLaw:

As with most topics both sides are over exaggerating things. I doubt balls get hung up on pinstadiums, but I know for sure acting like you cant see a PF without pinstadium is a bag of shit dicks. Even more hilarious when added to a new Stern, Aka the brightest goddamn things on the face of the earth.
Pretty sure most bars with games aren't as dark as your basement with the lights turned off, IF they are even dark at all.

Law, midplayfields on new sterns are dark man, it is what it is. Nobody is arguing that they are to dark to play. Art and visibility are better with pin Stadiums.

Quoted from Whysnow:

Thread is as good as any to debate it. More bumps to try and get this thing sold.
4 spotlights and problem solved. $12 in parts means 30 extra plays to pay it off.
Pinstadiums cost $180? That means 400 extra plays.
Sorry, not even close to worth it. Add in the 1 time they pop off and cause a stuck ball and you have a mad customer and another trip out to service a game because of a mod that fell off. This is a real issue. Last time I was at logan arcade they had then on a handful of games and 3 of the games were down specifically due to pinstadiums blocking balls.

Why add spots if the games midplayfield aren’t too dark. Spots work fine, but are a bigger pain in the ass to install and are ugly and do exactly that, project spotlights on playfields rather than evenly distributing light. No argument here that spots are cheaper and add some light.

#330 5 years ago

And led wedges in spots don’t fall out? Haha you’ve gotta be better at debating that that, cmon Hilton up your game

#335 5 years ago
Quoted from Whysnow:

TAF is the one and ONLY game I have ever thought could use some spotlights in a bar environment. I personally am not a fan, but the point is that IF (and that is a BIG if purposefully) an operator feels any game really needs more mid playfield light, it can be accomplished for very little money, very easily, will never cause a stuck ball, and ZERO zebra stripe LED junk to blind the player. They also have the benefit of being easy to fine tune position rather than flood the whole pf and ruin the designers intent and ambiance of the game.

Anyone with even a small spec of modding knows that hot glue is the 2 second fix and a .03 piece of heat shrink is the permanent fix. Guaranteed to never fall out. I can install 2 pot lights in less time than installing Pinstadium and bonus that I can raise and lower the pf with zero extra effort.
I get that they support your show and you like to light up games for the camera, but these things are super expensive and make zero sense on route unless an operator is doing it for personal preference and is OK dealing with the added hassle and ball sticks. I personally think they are a complete waste and will continue to rip them out of any game I buy with them.

I’d like to see you do a speed run on installing two spots, video it for us. Supporting the show has nothing to do with it. We like the product so we support it, what’s that have to do with sponsorship?

You rant on about ‘what the designer intends’ so what’s the argument when designers purchase these products for their pins?

And since the word CRAP is being thrown around to describe Pin Stadium quality, elaborate please on the poor quality with actual examples.

I’m up for discussion, but your points are not supported by actual evidence or examples, but merely whiny exaggerations of your feelings about a product. Something tells me it’s not about the product.

#337 5 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

I put invisiglass on my newer games and run original incandescent bulbs in the 80s and 90s ones and I like it better than the blinding LEDs. Even the newer games were never a problem to see.
No problem seeing anything. In fact even easier to see the ball.

No one said you can’t see to play.

#342 5 years ago
Quoted from TheLaw:

It's amazingly not that simple. Saying "midplayfields are dark" is as pointless to me as Hilton telling you anything aboot Pinstadiums.
Dark?...too dark? Dark or too dark for what? Too dark for everyone to see? Not as bright as the brightest part of the PF?
I appreciate the lesson on Sterns, but MET, GOT, GB, SW, IMDN...all games I've owned and played in my dark basement *cue creepy music* so I understand what they look like.
Now, too dark for podcasts, would pinstadiums jazz up a game and get more plays on route..none of that's my area of expertise so I don't comment on it.
My basement *Wilhelm scream* with no lights 3 minutes ago. I mean IS the midfield darker? Kind of maybe...def "darker" between the slings but I don't know...I never have problem seeing the ball.
YMMV, as does everyone's but just acting like the midplayfield (Apparently a term now) is some black hole of nothingness is a bit much.
[quoted image]
BUMP

Take a pic of IMDN or DP. Star Wars is pretty good with lighting especially with the factory spotlights. But generally, cameras do a poor job of capturing what the human eye captures.

Here’s mine with a set.

- Thank you I’m interested in seeing how quick this really is.

“who, what games? When they start coming from the factory with Pinstadium, please ping me.”

- Didnt spooky try lighting up AMH with some, just a lesser effect?

“Crap does not have to mean poor quality, but falling off route games is not a good sign of quality IMHO. It means it is a shitty product. I have posted numerous pictures now of blinding lights and zerba stripes. Looks like crap.”

- Here’s the misinformation I have an issue with. I’ve had zero fall off, in fact, the magnet are super strong so this is in no way accurate.
Any one reading that has the product, do they fall off like Hilton is suggesting?

“I dont think there are any exaggerations here. I may use strong language but I have only stated the facts:

-People rarely pay for mods. The ones that most people will pay for include colorDMD or special glass, not pinstadium. (Do you have any actual evidence to show they don’t pay extra for Pin Stadiums? Evidence I have is that last 8 games I sold with them as an option, 7 wanted them to stay on)

-Pinstadium is expensive and unnecessary to see/play a game. (Is pinball expensive? Is the Butter cab option on spooky pinballs expensive?)

-Few games would the majority agree could even use more light. (Again, another statement founded in nothing, not fact as you claim)

-Pinstadium is a LARGE cost for on route and it makes zero business sense to install them on a game. Basically double the cost for a route equation of expense/split/taxes/etc... They simply are not going to pay for themselves ever. (Again, you say these are facts, but this shit is just unfounded claims)

-IF you really think a game is too dark, then a few spotlights can fix this for a minimal cost. (Agree, but results between spots and pin stadium are much different so not the best comparison)

-Spotlights are easily installed in less time than Pinstadium. (Again, we need some proof here. Just unsupported weak claims given)

-Spotlights dont need to be removed every time you lift the pf and reinstalled every time you lower it. (Truth, hot damn you got one! And by reinstalled you mean sticking two magnets together. Took me longer to write the sentence.)

-Spotlights dont wash out all the pf art (any pictures of washing out playfield art? And are Pin Stadium not adjustable from 1% to 100%? Yet again, false information.)

Last point, if you like Pinstadium so much, then makes sense to remove them from your DP and lower the price. Remove the mods and adjust the price accordingly is often the easiest way to help a sale along. (And the candle on the cake to prove you speak without thinking. They are priced in the ad with or without the product.)

Quoted from TheLaw:

Yes, that's really the point isn't it? Your eye does a much better of 'seeing' than a camera.
It's officially stalemate time for this one. Here's my IMDN (thanks for making me play anyway), that proves both of our sides to us.
You're saying it dark, I'm saying it is but doesn't matter, you're showing pics of your pink (?) pinstadiums that make everything brighter, which we all agree with form the get go. [quoted image]

That pic is perfect!!! Thank you. Poor Zombie Yeti artwork. He deserves better than that mess.

Interesting debate. Although, it is hard to take all that you are saying (Zach) as 100% honest since they do sponsor your show.
While I am sure you believe you are not biased, would you treat PinStadium the same way you would another vendor if you did experience some issues? Would you talk about those issues the same way on your show?
So, while I agree for the most part with what you are saying, it would probably be best coming from someone who is not on their payroll.

I think it’s a bit unfair that I am unable to speak truth just because I endorse a product. Wondering what it will take for people to finally believe I’m not lying to my friends. Almost want to drop the sponsorship so that I can “be believed”. We are endorsed by Comet Pinball, and they have the best LEDs. We are endorsed by Marco Specialties. Does that suddenly mean they all of a sudden don’t have an enormous amount of pinball parts inventory. I endorse products I feel are the best in their respective categories. I don’t endorse products if I don’t think they are good.

Just frustrating because such statements are equal to “Zach, I believe your integrity can be bought.”

Saw this for sales thread had 88 new responses.... Didn't know this turned into pinstadium fest!
- 5100 it's definitely a fair price. You guys offering low/mid 4s? Cmon now son!
- I have 5 pairs of pinstadiums. They have never fallen off. They make a huge difference in certain pins
- I'm waiting for Zach to comment on the Orion belt. If he supports it in the same fashion as the pinstadiums I'm giving up on his non bias attitude. Dropping 500+ for lights - I'm just not even going to comment. That product has left me burned out especially the continuing hype including more bullshit about it being sold out. Just stop it. Even if it's true and the 4 produced were sold just keep it internal for now.
- the zebra lines in the pic above me are a perfect illustration on why Scott needs to fix these things. That looks absolutely terrible ruining the look of a great looking machine BUT.... IMDN needs help in the lightning department in the middle so I can understand why some can live with it but spots could be the alternative

I have yet to see the Orion’s Belt in person so I can’t say. On stream, they seemed to look really cool during Disco Multiball. After expo and some time with them, we will likely report back, but alas a biased, paid opinion because I have no integrity or ability to report my true opinions.

Cheer up dude.

You know I’m always cheery Law cmon now. I do take offense when i feel my integrity is questioned, because I work hard to be fair and honest. It’s a pride thing that I always have a tough time with and will continue to fight with. But I’m always happy when it comes to pinball.

Quoted from o-din:

And isn't it those pinstadium lights that are helping boost the asking price on this thing out of many sensible people's wheelhouse?
If it's part of what is being sold in a for sale thread, seems like fair game to me.
Now bringing up fully unrelated items like say a bass boat, then that's a whole nuther story.

It’s included as an option if buyer wants them.

Quoted from iceman44:

So Zach, are you doing Munsters pro or premium

Quoted from raz0red:

Sorry if my comment was interpreted as being insulting, that was not my intention (in fact, I did say that I agreed with him for the most part). My comment was that any pro-PinStadium comments would resonate much better coming from someone who isn't directly sponsored by PinStadium (in the context of his debate with Whysnow). I too agree that he is a stand up guy, and I really enjoy his podcasts. However, all media (podcasts included) face the issue of people questioning their integrity when they enthusiastically promote a product they are sponsored by.
Sorry again if that was interpreted as insulting, it wasn't personal, just a general observation.

Definitely not directed at you buddy just is something I continue to hear over and over again, which would be fine if it were true. Most people would turn the other cheek and that’s what most of my close friends would say to me, but at times I just can’t sit back. That’s what makes me, me I suppose. All is good I’m not down at all about any criticism because that’s what I do in the industry as well. I fully welcome it, but will also come back when I disagree.

#396 5 years ago
Quoted from delt31:

Oh zach - you know me by now - I bust balls. Don't get so down buddy! I love hearing about your opinion. If I thought your opinion was bought off, I would have tuned out by now.
Now I am serious about my thoughts on the belt - really hope it gets tweaked and those zebras are fixed on the pins.

They don’t bother me a ton, but I agree, a diffuser would be killer on the product like a frosted bulb or led strip. I’ve told Scott numerous times my thoughts, but hasn’t happened quite yet. I hope it does. That’s another reason I respect Scott as a friend. I’ve been pretty critical at times with him and suggest all types of things for reiterations to make the product better every year. He doesn’t ignore me, he takes it on the chin like a grown adult and uses it to make his company better.

How much for the IMDN?

It’s just the empty cab, no head, no coin door. It was the original cab that had a defect.

Quoted from PoMC:

If the light rails fall off or partially off, then it can block a ramp return or launcher. On the sets I make, one roll of magnet tape was not nearly as strong as my other rolls, and that caused some issues on those kits I made for a few of my games.

Could the magnets you’re using on your sets differ from the Pin Stadium magnets?

Sorry if this has been said before a hundred posts ago, will this game be at expo?

Not planning on it unless I had a buyer then yeah possibly.

Zach, did you get your pirates yet?

Uuuuh nope still waiting just no longer patiently waiting. Starting to feel like the wait for acnc all over again which I cancelled.

Quoted from pinmister:

Zach just wanted to let you know I appreciate your podcast and honest reviews, thank you!
Now that we are into page 10 on for sale ad, I can use that GIF I haven't used in years
In before the lock or sale...whatever comes first

Quoted from Schmitty:

We need a little boost here! Zach works long hours for all this entertainment. I’ll contribute the $100 bucks if someone pulls the trigger in the next twelve hours! Zach must have a deposit within the twelve hour time window to be valid.

Kind, but you know I wouldn’t accept that.

#481 5 years ago

Well guys I guess the Iron Maiden cab is safe....for now. It’s gonna keep sitting here taking up space, unless people want to see something happen to it. Maybe a charity thing?

I thought of an idea for the Iron Maiden Cab. How about making it into a makeshift Toboggan for a pinsider charity sledding event. People can take turns riding the fury of the beast down the hill. Or a makeshift Soap Box Derby with wheels and steering wheel. You can do some cool things with that cab.

I can just picture that now, little Rascals style. All the manufacturers and pinball personalities box-car derby. You know the Spooky team boxcar would be crazy awesome.
