For sale is a 1985 Bally Cybernaut pinball machine in excellent condition. Only 900 of these were produced so it is somewhat unusual to come across one in this condition. The backglass is perfect and the playfield and cabinet have minimal wear for a 30+ year old pinball machine. Click on the main picture to get a close-up view of all of the posted pictures.

This is a 3-flipper "shooters" machine with strong flippers and fast play. Work done and other highlights are as follows:

* The playfield has been cleaned and waxed. It has the original factory mylar on the surface and it is in excellent overall condition.
* The cabinet graphics are excellent with little-or-no fade and just a few nicks and scrapes.
* All playfield rubber is new and the playfield plastic has been cleaned and polished. All of the plastic is in excellent condition.
* All of the drop targets are new.
* The playfield lights are new 2-smd LEDs (bright) and 5 additional lights were added to light dark areas on the playfield.
* All of the score displays work as they should. The voltage to the displays has been reduced from 190 vdc (factory) to 170 vdc to prolong the life of the displays without affecting their brightness.
* The original NiCad battery has been removed from the MPU (main processing unit) and replaced with a memory capacitor that requires no maintenance nor has any risk of leaking as it ages. There is NO battery acid damage on the MPU.
* All of the circuit boards in the backbox have had their header pin solder reflowed (the solder can crack over time resulting in hard-to-find electrical issues) and all capacitors have been replaced (they dry out as they get old, thus reducing their effectiveness).
* Installed on the sound board are new capacitors, a new amplifier and a new volume potentiometer.
