This project has a lot of potential! I bought this Cross Town game a few years ago but never got around to restoring it, and now that I'm on a slight purge mission to gain some space, I've decided to sell it.

The game is complete but has never been tested. The cabinet was painted yellow at some point. The backglass is pretty decent with some spots of missing paint. The playfield is OK, but not as perfect as I'd like. With that in mind, I acquired what I thought would be a good replacement playfield, partially populated, which on my initial examination of the seller's photos looked almost perfect with no wear spots.

Upon receiving the spare playfield however I noticed a few challenges. The spare playfield has some delamination of the first layer of painted wood on the back, and while I feel that the layer that is delaminating could be glued back, this is not a job I am ready to do. There are also some cracks/delamination on the top side in the center, and this can be seen in the photos. I believe with glue and clear coat this can also be repaired. The spare playfield is shown in the photos and is included in this sale. (The photos shown with the glass on are the original playfield.)

This said, the incredible Wade Krause (https://pinballplayfields.wordpress.com/) has announced he will be doing a reproduction playfield for Cross Town eventually. If you know his work you know that his Cross Town play fields will be gorgeous.

I can palletize for cheaper shipping. Feel free to request more photos.
