Sent a PM yesterday, never got a reply. Maybe they're already gone? Was looking at the frosteds.. I'm still extremely hesitant on LEDding my TZ, and thought I'd try the translights first.

It's definitely much, much brighter. I did my Road Show and now I see stuff in the translite I never saw before. It's pretty funny. It makes sense to do the translite because it will be much cooler temperature wise.

You are like the only person on the face of the planet that I've seen complain about their bulbs. Perhaps you should be more specific as to which ones you have and why you don't like them, because Art busts his butt making bulbs for everyone, at cheap prices.

Curious, I'd like to know why?

I JUST got some Coin Taker frosted (like the ones from Comet) to try, so I'm curious to see how they work under a translight.

I do, thank you Frax, and hard to imagine, someone Hates a light bulb....
Especially when the factories that make them overlap for many vendors....

I agree. I have had nothing but good luck with Comet bulbs and have not used anything else for a while now. Plus Art's willingness to help only adds to the experience.

Used every vender available. I will only use Comet from now on. The best is the Bis. Art is a Lover of lights and pinball. He works hard to find the best and the newest tech. He has a light for every situation.
I would find it hard to ever say I don't like comet LED's I have not even tried them all yet.

My favorite is the frosted 2 smd 2835's

Can you provide a link to the Comet you say you like? Which others do you like? My first go at this I got a "kit" from Coin Taker. It's okay but I don't believe the "we've built it from a consensus of owners" about what looks best. I think they just did a swap out from the original MFG. I would like to know what specific bulbs people like to use in what application so I can have a go at doing my own "kit" so to speak.
