This is the nicest EM I've ever had and one of the nicest I've ever seen. I've had it for 10-12 years or so. It came with the original import sheet showing it arriving in Baltimore. I assume it was routed at some point but don't really know. I also have the original schematic and Sonic key tag thingy.

Cabinet is mostly perfect. Sonic used particle board in their games so the cabs are usually crap. Not this one. The playfield is perfect. The backglass is perfect. Game plays perfectly. If you're looking for an EM showpiece, this is it. Seriously.

Looking for $1600/obo. Trades considered. Game is located in St. Augustine, FL.

Here's a nice video review of the game if you've never played one.

Very nice looking game in great condition! I had a mint backglass for one a few years back but never actually saw one of those games.

A nice game I don't recall seeing in the arcades circa 1978. Would like to pop by to check it out, but Florida is a bit far. GLWTS.

I had the game about 20+ years ago, it was kinda fun for a while and I've seen others since then. Back then it was a $300 game, I wish now I would have kept it a while longer....LOL.
GLWTS.

Is the playfield polyurethane?

#6 3 years ago

No not really, but they have some sorta protection on them as they always look brand new and I've never seen a worn Sonic game ever.

I Really wish I was closer. That game looks great. GLWTS, wish it was to me

Sonic games all had a plastic overlay so they don't wear, ever. They fade like MFers in the sun though which is why I kept this in the basement like Dracula.
