It's touched up pretty poorly, and the clear is pretty wacky...that's what I meant.

probably going to be out of my price range. I have a BG and another BG project so I am out.

I can see the sunken inserts and bubbling clear on the Big Game but don’t see any touch-ups on that playfield?
Cheetah I can see the off-green touch-ups.

Can you point them out to the untrained eye?

#18 3 years ago

I thought it looks pretty good. A lot of what you see is reflections from background. Cupped inserts are going to happen on this era of game. You have to put on a crapload of clear if you want those inserts to be completely non cupped. I'm sure the cupping is greatly reduced than it would have been if it wasn't cleared.

I guess you could swap me saying "poor" for "DIY". These things usually blown out in the middle, just the way it goes with this era.
Well it's a Classic Stern, so look for any round insert

Just a quick grab

pretty solid work man. that BG was nice from the get go

#23 3 years ago

insert circles are very rarely actually perfectly round. From screening the screens are stretched and distorted a lot of the time making circles not perfectly circle. That's why if you try to use a stencil to remake them, they never line up with the existing work. Pretty much have to be free handed, unless the circle is so far gone that you have to redo it from scratch.

congrats
BG ? next

#26 3 years ago

Both sold to same guy.

#27 3 years ago

Now that’s how you do it!

#28 3 years ago

I bet they sold to that Adam in NYC. I heard him on a podcast a while back and I know he was looking for a minty Cheetah. Am I right????

#29 3 years ago

His BG price was VERY good, so not surprised

So Seawitch with NOS field, NOS backglass ? Price ? I was thinking 5500?

That’s not enough to go on to establish a price. I think more info is needed. With that being said, $5500 seems a bit high.

$8000 obo

That’s what I’m talkin’ ‘bout! A guy with too much money. Congrats on the sale. You probably put way too much time into these for the price, but that’s pinball ain’t it????
