FOR SALE (OR POSSIBLE TRADE): An absolutely beautiful, and tastefully modded, example of one of the best Williams WPC titles from the early 90's - Bram Stroker's Dracula (BSD). I believe many would jump to assigning the coveted "HUO" designation to this pin; however, I am not a huge fan of the dialog that goes with an undocumented designation, I have no information on the history of this particular machine, and I honestly just don't care either way. That said, this pin is incredibly CLEAN, and every SN on it (up to and including the coin-box lid!) is matching. The bottom board around the power switch is not even soiled from dirty/sweaty hands. If it did see a term in commercial service, it was short lived, and it was very well cared for during that time.
I acquired this machine through a trade for a rare video-arcade, about 6-8 months ago. A mutual friend of the previous owner and I ended up playing the middle man for the deal, so I never even talked to, or met, the prior owner. I was pleasantly surprised when the pin showed up (shipped); however, when I opened the backbox up, there wasn't a single board in it! The previous owner was having some intermittent driver-board issues with the pin and didn't want the trade to fall through so he sent ALL of the boards to Eugene Mosh (well known and talented board repair guy) to be gone through and bulletproofed. The boards were then shipped directly to me, I installed them back in the game, and haven't had an issue since (well over 100 games by me now). I am not sure what all was done, as no invoice was included, but I do see many new electrolytic caps on most all the boards, some well known/needed driver board updates, and the installation of a Weebly NVRAM on the MPU.
Anyway, I now have two of this title, and have decided to let this one go - this machine is WAY nicer than my other one, but I found the other dead in a falling-down warehouse and brought it back myself, so I would rather keep that one. I did not perform the shop-job or work on this one, but it appears as though it was done not that long ago. The pin is very clean and 100% working - the work completed, that I can see anyway, is as follows:
- Full "blood-red" powder coating of the legs and armor;
- Three (3) additional custom-castle mods added, these are very cool, look great, and are very well made. The largest on the one ramp has a micro switch, and lights up with color changing LED's when its triggered. I don't believe these mods are available anymore.
- Neon yellow plastic protector set - I wasn't sold on these things looking at them online, but they look fantastic on this pin!
- Tilt Graphics BSD "Side-Blades"
- A mix of LED's/Incandescent - I believe all of the GI and inserts in the playfield are LED'd (some blue in the GI). The playfield flashers, backbox GI, and backbox flashers are still fully incandescent. I was going to LED the backbox before selling, but actually really like the warm incandescent with this translite, so I left it as received.
- Silicone rubbers throughout;
- Game specific flipper toppers (decals)
- Custom, laminated, pricing/instruction cards
Please review the pictures closely for additional condition details, and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, or if you would like to see additional photos of a specific area. The game is not perfect or completely restored, so please do not assume that - it is however the nicest original I have seen, and the pictures should serve well to showcase that. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, or reach out if you would like to set up a time see it in person.
I would be interested in discussing a trade deal for a very-nice shopped and ready to go WH20 or TZ, or a gritty un-shopped WH2O or TZ. I would also like to find an HUO RBION.
The game is located in Central Pennsylvania, just off I-80. Pickup is highly preferred, but shipping is not out of the question if the buyer makes all arraignments, and payment-in-full has cleared my account before the game leaves my possession.
IN REGARD TO THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC: This pin is currently located in my clean, dry, and climate controlled warehouse. If a meaningful deposit is received, you're more than welcome to leave it there until such a time when you are comfortable picking it up. In that scenario, I do reserve the right to at least one or two games a week though! If you would like to get it into your lineup ASAP, I am open to a pickup anytime, and we can easily abide by all of the recommended practices for interaction. You can drive right into the building and almost right up to your new machine. I have all the lifts/dolly's/carts needed to make loading it a breeze. I will leave it as you're call, and I will respect and accommodate what ever you decide.
