Yep Banker, sounds like a scenario you just went through last week! Why do people make doing these simple kinds of deals so freak'in hard and complex....... just communicate with people clearly, if you cant do something... speak up!
Quoted from KornFreak28:Thanks for the kind words, I feel like shit actually
KornFreak28, move on, it was not meant to be and I'm sure there is something hidden that you'd be pissed about later on when you got it home and found, there'll be more out there to come along and to get from more honest people..... hang in there, not meant to be?
Quoted from New_England:Is no one going to bring up the fact that he didn’t disclose that half the restoration hadn’t even been completed until after the deal was made?
Agree totally, what a dick move to disclose all that needs to be done after an agreed sale and he only dropped $100 for that! Again KornFreak28 you got the better end of this deal. Like I said early on in this post, through this all you will find a great BSD that you will enjoy more at a better deal.
Quoted from djsolzs:The OP should tell his side of the story and not avoid it at this point. If he bailed on the original buyer just fess up move on. Otherwise tell your version. I hate people who deal like this.
Agreed, I think he is in hiding at this point!
Quoted from KornFreak28:If you have a change of heart, have the balls to answer my phone call or texts and say so!
He only did after he secured his money with another buyer. What a POS!
And that is why we are hearing nothing from him now!
Should we start a new post (just like the "More Craigslist Laughs") to contribute all of those sellers who have broken their word (trust) on a deal?
Quoted from Trident:It's amazing how things have changed I bought my first BSD in 2011 for a then outrageous price of $1500. Back then a good one was $1200-$1400 now you can barely get a BSD playfield for that price. You can't go wrong with it though one of the best pins ever.
Agree, I absolutely love mine for years now and I don't plan on it leaving here anytime soon, even at the $3800 range
Quoted from pinzrfun:i paid a whopping $600 for mine.
Fast forward 10 years or so, I answer a local Craigslist ad for a multicade. Text back and forth with the guy, just bs'ing, send some pics of our gamerooms and he mentions the BSD, that he used to have one, sold it about 10 years ago. Long story short, I root around in the cabinet and there's a package w some rubber rings and junk in it, I ask "Are you so-and-so?" And he laughs...."Yep, that's me...."
Thats cool..... small world, smaller than we all know!
Quoted from Blackbeard:Where the dickens is the seller?
He got his extra $$ and he is gone and not looking back!
He should explain himself here though!
Quoted from KornFreak28:I just noticed he deleted the price on the thread title
Yes, I see that too, he is watching all of this but has decided to lay low, not respond and thinking this will all go away and his world will get better with the extra $$ he made!
