Quoted from cheshirefilms:How is this still around- shipped it's still at least $600 under going price for an average one of these days. This one is way above that and no fade.
Is that true? What’s an average BSD go for then? I thought it was about $2.5
Seems like a few sold for less over the last 6 months for less. But, to be honest, I’ve not really been tracking it.
My BSD is a really solid player - cab is somewhat faded and has some dings. Playfield is super nice... I’ve thought about selling and upgrading, but I think there’s something endearing about having a copy that shows some history. I dig it.
I had no idea prices have climbed that much. About 4 or 5 years ago I traded a Getaway for a BSD and a really nice pile of cash. Deals like that are looooong gone, I guess.
That being said, I’d dish $3k for one. It’s one of those games that I’ve played over and over and over... still enjoy pressing start.
Quoted from cheshirefilms:The Pinsound track is ridiculous amazing and Pinstadium also changed the game too. Before that, always a tough fun game but the dynamic of BSD got kicked up a notch or two by these. Plus the coffin mod is amazing. Not to mention the barcades market has sucked many of the better used games dry.
I cringe. Pinstadium lighting up the Prince of Darkness? Rip out the game's soul, why don't you!!
Quoted from cheshirefilms:Choose a nighttime color scheme, or you can always turn it off for 'purists.' That said, Barry Oursler told me the lack of proper lighting on this game was a screw-up, same as BWs insistance on lightning flippers- the geometry of the shots is for regular flippers- but when it's your game, you can go with your gut.

Different strokes/different folks... I've tried Pinstadium, not my thing. I appreciate others like it and have zero issues with the buying process or build quality... but BSD is perfection as is. I can't imagine adding that lighting into the game.
