Underpriced!
Somebody jump on it, GLWS!

#4 5 years ago

do you have any trips down where i'm at planned anytime soon?

#5 5 years ago

3K for what looks like an unfaded BSD? That'll be gone in a MA minute.

#6 5 years ago

Great buy!

#7 5 years ago

Uploaded a bunch of new pics upon multiple requests

#8 5 years ago

Should have already sold, what are you northern guys doing?

#9 5 years ago

Killer game.

#10 5 years ago

Agreed....this is a bargain for one of the best pins ever! Mine will never leave. If you are on the fence, get off...this is one of the nicer ones I have seen in quite some time......GLWS!!

#11 5 years ago

*emulates cheap buyers*

The slots on the coin door are a bit too far apart..... ...I'll give you 1200 to make up for it

#12 5 years ago

If it was closer I would have purchased it already. Great price on a great game.

#13 5 years ago

How is this still around- shipped it's still at least $600 under going price for an average one of these days. This one is way above that and no fade.

#14 5 years ago

I think no one wants to drive to the Cape in the summer. Haha. I would probably buy it if I wasn’t in Florida right now.

#15 5 years ago

Yeah whatever it takes you to get to the bridge, add another 6hrs to get to Welfleet...

#16 5 years ago

Nice looking BSD and a even better price!
GTWTS!

After over 3 years of ownership and owning most top pins.... bsd still remains and is still a top pin imo. Cant believe it still only fetches between 2750 and 4k. Its still one of the best buys imo.

Is that true? What’s an average BSD go for then? I thought it was about $2.5

#20 5 years ago

I've owned my BSD since Oct 28th of 09 ... I paid $ 900 for it back then ( shopped ) $ 3K wouldn't get Mine .. Love it !!!

3 years ago perhaps. BSD has been hot lately, especially with the explosion of barcades. Seems like every one I've seen listed for $3500 sold quickly- till this one. Must be a dry season for selling, besides rare and HEP games of course, which generally go top dollar all year round.

#22 5 years ago

Seems like a few sold for less over the last 6 months for less. But, to be honest, I’ve not really been tracking it.

Can't speak for everyone, but a lot of folks I know aren't buying right now or are shifting things around for bigger purchases. Between IMDN, MBr, TNA, and DI, a lot of buyers are out of the used market right now.

If I had the cash I'd be all over this... but we're trying to figure out how long it will take us to save up the $$$ for MBr or what has to go in order to make that happen. I agree it's amazing this BSD is still available... just unfortunate timing I guess?

#24 5 years ago

are replacement coffins unobtainium?

#25 5 years ago

Right now 3k gets ya a beat to death one. This one is worth 4K+ all day long.

#26 5 years ago

talk about pinflation, I barely got $2,800 for this not too long ago, love died for a little bit but now it seems as if love is strong:

I swear a guy on here did some realllllly badass remakes of the coffins. Maybe he still has some?

If you have a game to sell, there is nothing better to have than a B level W/B game. They’re way cheaper than anything new and will never be made again. Plus, they come from the pin era that gives everyone the warm and fuzzies.

Guess I’ll never own one then. Good lord.

#30 5 years ago

Agreed, this one should be sold at $4k

#31 5 years ago

My BSD is a really solid player - cab is somewhat faded and has some dings. Playfield is super nice... I’ve thought about selling and upgrading, but I think there’s something endearing about having a copy that shows some history. I dig it.

I had no idea prices have climbed that much. About 4 or 5 years ago I traded a Getaway for a BSD and a really nice pile of cash. Deals like that are looooong gone, I guess.

That being said, I’d dish $3k for one. It’s one of those games that I’ve played over and over and over... still enjoy pressing start.

#32 5 years ago

finally somebody that "gets it"

#33 5 years ago

Lol, can’t understand all the “it should be this” or “it should be that” talk. It should be whatever he wants it to be.

The Pinsound track is ridiculous amazing and Pinstadium also changed the game too. Before that, always a tough fun game but the dynamic of BSD got kicked up a notch or two by these. Plus the coffin mod is amazing. Not to mention the barcades market has sucked many of the better used games dry.

Your point? Two years ago I got a well above average TZ from a local collector for $3500 at market price. Bitcoin was a good investment 2 years ago as well. Pinstadium and BSD Pinsound didn't exist two years ago. Time changes things, yes even to pinball values.

Two years ago tz was worth well more 3500?

$4500-5000 was probably the going rate on a solid TZ in 2016. Anyways, just saying, pinflation in past two years is real on certain titles- many factors involved.

#39 5 years ago

I’ll take it if it’s available.

I wholeheartedly agree about the Pinsound board and this game. I put a Pinsound in mine and it revitalized the game. It’s the must have mod for BSD in my opinion.

I cringe. Pinstadium lighting up the Prince of Darkness? Rip out the game's soul, why don't you!!

Choose a nighttime color scheme, or you can always turn it off for 'purists.' That said, Barry Oursler told me the lack of proper lighting on this game was a screw-up, same as BWs insistance on lightning flippers- the geometry of the shots is for regular flippers- but when it's your game, you can go with your gut.

Honestly that's what I have into it, picked up in Worcester a few years ago for $2,200, & between issues & new ramps put $800 into it. Not looking to make a big profit, just sell & get something else. Looks like after many offers/discussions it will have a new home

Different strokes/different folks... I've tried Pinstadium, not my thing. I appreciate others like it and have zero issues with the buying process or build quality... but BSD is perfection as is. I can't imagine adding that lighting into the game.

#45 5 years ago

As an owner of two pinstadium kits that absolutely make a huge diff, this game would be TERRIBLE with pinstadiums. This game needs spotlights strategically placed. What people need to understand is that pinstadium isn't an all for 1 solution. It's perfect for certain games (a lot) - BSD is def not one of them.

I love it in mine, and I was sceptical too at first. Happy for OP likely making his sale at last.

Looks awesome. Adds much needed light to see the ball and also keeps the creepy look of the game that fits the theme. Well done.

Awesome game. I’ll get one someday, until then congrats to the new owner!
