Game - for sale

For sale: Black Knight 2000

Added: 2018-12-15 23:56:49 UTC • Ended: December 18th, 2018
Condition: HUO - Undocumented (Home Used Only)

Price

$ 4,500

I'm selling my 2nd-owner HUO Williams Black Knight 2000 pin. There aren't too many originals like this from the late 1980's, but this is one and would be perfect for any collector so is priced accordingly. I think the photos speak for themselves.

The pin is in fantastic shape for its age, with original non-faded silkscreen graphics, non-flaking original backglass, and original (non-repro) playfield. The pin has been fully shopped/cleaned with all new white rubbers, new flipper rebuild kits, all new coil sleeves, replacement clear plastics replacing the old yellowed ones, and more.

The game works 100% and is clean enough to eat out of. It has very minimal signs of wear, and as far as I can tell there isn't even a light bulb out on it. The shooter lane reflects the minimal amount of plays this game has received, and the magna save and playfield are original. There is just the tinyist spot of mylar lifting on the lightning wheel where the ball drops from the upper playfield, and some lifting of the mylar at the edge around the WAR inserts which can be seen in the photos.

The game includes an original manual and notice to operators pamphlet, key chain fob, pricing cards, mylar sling protectors, and warranty card which you don't often see. I'll also include a set of extra replacement plastics as I bought a repro set to replace the clear ones and didn't use the rest.

I would prefer a local sale so you can come play it in person, but would be willing to ship if buyer makes all arrangements and accepts the risk in shipping these old games. Additional photos or details available upon request.

#4 5 years ago

Wow what a find. I didn’t know they made a BK2k diamond plate. Phenomenal condition none the less. Congrats to the buyer.

#5 5 years ago

Great pick up Patrick. Congratulations.

#6 5 years ago

Doh, my mistake...I rechecked and it must be pre-diamond plate. It should have just said original non-repro playfield...sorry for any confusion!

#7 5 years ago

Whoa! That was fast. I saw it pop up right before dinner, and I was surprised to see you selling it. I'm glad to have been able to play it a few years ago.

I didn't know Stern reissued bk2k this year?

Nah, that's just my OCD in shopping out games. I do that as I think they look much better painted all the way to the cabinet floor, and it helps to keep them cleaner down the road.

Beyond excited to add this to the arsenal.

Love the extra touch of black paint, classy in my book. FYI seller is a super stand-up guy, and honored our deal despite the jerkface that tried to offer more cash after our deal was in place. I get this all the time when I sell stuff here, and I never go for it. It's not cool.

Thanks again Ed, you rock!

You got the power. You got it the might. Give me your money. Ha ha ha.

More likely its gonna be called BK2020. Or at least it should. Think on it. #1 was from 1980, #2 was 2000, #3....2020. I bet the animations on the video display are gonna be fun, assuming BK#3 does come out next year or soon thereafter.

It's not perfect corresponding, but it just makes sense to call the next one BK 2020 to follow the kitch.
