This machine was "rescued" from a non-pinhead house where it sat for the past 20 years, 10 of each it did not work so it needed quite a bit of TLC (i spent at least 20 hours to bring this back to good playing condition). Great and hard to find game, so it was worth bringing back to life!
The playfield is good, a good section has mylar and a couple of spots were touched up. It could be candidate for the upcoming new reproduction playfield coming out soon if you really wanted a pristine one instead.
The cabinet is solid with the art in a good shape, a few spots touched up as well. The one weird part is vent section of the backbox that are broken and a grill is in place. Can we removed or back board of the backbox replaced (I did that on my 9 Ball). I had to install a set of spare used Stern legs, the game came with the wrong ones.
I had to put a repaired solenoid driver and sound board in the game, i repined quite a few of the connectors and changed pins on the MPU as well. I also installed a set of working used display as all 5 of them were completely burned up.
I went through the whole game, replaced of couple dozens light socket and all the bulbs, tear down the top playfield to clean everything and changed all the rubber. I also rebuilt the flipper with spare parts to make them work (the assemblies are actually Bally for some reasons but it does not impact game play) and replaced one of the sling shot arm with a spare one i had (original was broken off).
The backglass colors are good though there is some cracking throughout but no flaking.
