For sale: Big Bang Bar (Capcom, 1996)

Added: April 27th, 2016 Ended: April 20th, 2018
Condition: HUO - Documented (Home Used Only)

Item description

For sale or partial trade is a beautiful Capcom Big Bang bar in excellent condition. There's not a bump, scratch or bruise even on the cabinet head. The playfield is in excellent condition because it simply didn't get played. This machine was manufactured by Illinois Pinball. It's game number 44 of around 200 produced. It also comes from a smoke and pet free home. It's currently set on free play but does come complete with working coin mechs. Full price includes free shipping, a complete Planetary Pinball plastic set, a spare cpu board and manual. Shipping to the lower 48 states by NAVL only. I will put many layers of wrap and cardboard on this game so it will arrive in the same condition as it left my basement. It'll also be fully insured. I'm located just north of Spokane WA. Local pickup is always welcome. I can also deliver to the NW Pinball Show in Tacoma. Need more information or more pictures? No problem at all. I work a lot of hours and will respond to any questions when I get a chance. I'm simply selling to gather funds for a dream muscle car. A sale is obviously my preference, but I'd consider interesting trades plus cash. Anything nib. A Ghostbusters LE, Aliens LE, Rob Zombie LE, Star Trek LE or any mint A or B list title plus cash I'd consider. If I already have a particular title that you want trade, no problem. I'll keep the nicer one and sell the other. Thanks for looking!

Man you have got one serious collection!

#3 4 years ago

Yeah , nice collection
And GLWS

Always wandered why the BBB owners don't play this game much
Is the fun factor low or just don't want to beat up a valuable item?

It's not the greatest playing game, essentially a right flipper game.

Sad, I know, but I have limited time to play *any* of my games!

I work at least 6 days a week. When I'm off, I can barely keep up with the projects around the house. Late fall is about the only free time I have for pinball.

Thanks!

16 years in the hobby has got me to where I'm at. Works out to a keeper game or two a year!

I just came back from NY, visited sunshine laundromat while there and played BBB. Fun game for sure, and yours look awesome (just like your whole collection). Wish I could seriously entertain buying this, GLWTS

Well, you do have a MM that gets you over half way there!

I'd prefer more cash and a lesser title though. (LOTR?)

I believe you're getting a Rob Zombie LE?

Just curious, if you hardly have time to play, why trade? How about thinning out the collection? I'd be happy to hold onto them for you

Just a RZ standard, which I'd happily trade off toward this. I have other interesting things as well such as Pinball Refinery Demolition Man on Steroids #1, Whoa Nellie, inbound NIB TWD Premium, inbound NIB GB Premium, the Holy Grail of slot machines (if you like that sort of thing), etc. Feel free to PM me if any of those interest you.

#13 4 years ago

Thats my game Mike
I have a standard RZ coming as well.

A trade helps fund a high dollar machine that would otherwise be unattainable for a lot of us. I do desire the cash, but I'm not going to turn down a desirable title and cash.

I'm not going anywhere in this hobby. I'll be in it until the day I die! I do have other interests in the summer and fall. Heck, year round actually. One of them is muscle cars which I hope to buy another very soon with funds from this sale.

If this was an LE, I'd be all over it! (Let's swing a three way deal with your friend who has an LE coming.)

I did get interest from a guy with an RZLE. Just not enough cash added. The speculation / value on a RZLE is very high for a game most haven't played yet. Hats off to Spooky Pinball for the buzz this pin has created.

By the way pingod is an excellent seller. Buy with confidence!

#16 4 years ago

I really want one of these one day. GLWS.

Sorry,he wouldn't trade me.
I asked him before already.
Good luck in your hunt,I do have a TWDLE to.

Green here. Is it just the rarity of this game that drives the price so high or does it play fantastic as well?

#21 4 years ago

Your my Hero

Nice pins & Muscle cars
And works 6 days a week

You could be my twin

Arguably the best art package on any pin, best lighting, coolest ramps and toys, best theme and theme integration, etc. Add that to the rarity and history of the pin and there's your answer.

The gameplay is pretty fun, but not spectacular.

Game is sold. It'll stay in the great state of Washington.

I do thank everyone for the offers!

#25 4 years ago

Congrats on the sale. I'm jealous of the new owner!

#26 4 years ago

good thing you sold it.
Did you get your STLE as well.

I played the hell out of mine, probably close to a thousand plays. It's not too hard and I eventually sold it because I got sick of it. Great looker, so-so player.

#28 4 years ago

Mike,

GLWS, I really hope it stays in the PNW.

So much history with both this title, production, and your personal machine.

I would buy it, but I feel I would have to put in some "time capsule" to protect it.
Someday, I may pull the trigger, too many opportunities.

The Best,

Chris

Don't worry Chris, not letting this leave Seattle and definitely NOT putting it in a hermetically sealed chamber. Drive north anytime you want and feel free to flip at it until you make the tube dancer's hair fall out. What's mine is yours.

quote of the day, "get the extra ball, ya wiener!"

Cheers, Dave
