You don't see them because they actually sold. I sold my Taxi for $1700 in about a week's time. If I priced it like some have suggested I'd probably still be waiting. Fairly priced sells in some reasonable time, if your intent is to sell the game. Overpriced, and it will sit. So, why is yours not sold yet?

No, no rush. My buyer had already expressed a higher offer than what I sold it to him for. I countered that I felt the fair price for its condition was $1700. I gave him a fair deal, which makes him feel good and me feel good. I certainly could have price it a lot higher and waited longer to "maximize" my profit - but that's not how I treat this hobby.

Well, its not. Its not in top 40 on IPDB, either. I thought I overpaid a bit for my FT(Just under $3k) wayyy better game in wayyy better condition. #19 in the top 300, if you care about those lists.

When I was super new, that's where I would look before I knew any better. Have not looked at it for > 1yr at least. I don't even think about it when browsing for games anymore.
Yes there are some games listed there that are not listed elsewhere. Once in a while, you can find a reasonable deal. I feel the biggest problem with Mr. Pinball is the lag time for posting and pulling ads - it's often several days before they show up. If they've listed the same game anywhere else, its often already gone. I bought one game from a Mr. Pinball ad once.

Too bad he didn't take his own philosophy. Most of us have flipped machines at one time or another, but most of us have put some value into them: repairs, shopping, etc...

OP doesn't represent pin very well, Not does he add any value to it, just a money grubbing flip that does not help anyone in the hobby. It's greedy and has contributing effects to causing prices to rise. There's potential Baywatch owners out there shying away because it's overpriced, and those with extra deep pockets making bona fide offers and getting turned down. Not welcome in MY hobby!

Sega took over DE in 1994, and the boardset is known as DE/Sega - Essentially the same company. Tech-wise, the repair pages lump SEGA and DE together as well. Even though my 94 Maverick is"officially" billed as Data East, it is a crossover game. There is no official logo on the Maverick for either DE or SEGA, the SEGA logo comes up on the DMD splash, and the DE logo is on the shooter rod handle.
So, yeah, I'll give you the SEGA logo on the Baywatch - under the hood its both SEGA and DE.
