Quoted from mskoenen:No word on if this one was imamaculate, though.
Well hell...there you go, that clearly makes ALL the difference.
Quoted from Thor-NL:Night shift reporting for duty!
I expect an imamaculate performance, HODL the line!
The way this is playing out, 1,000 posts easily by midnight. Let's keep it PST just to give us a buffer.
Quoted from Cycloneman:its alright, nothing extreme and i wish they would find an alternate translite...That david hassel your hog has to go
Wait, has the OP been selling a table top version of Baywatch this whole time? Do we really need the legs?
Only been played 600 times in twelve yes because its a pain the a$$ to lift it off the ground to turn it on and off good thing its not a legless Hercules.
because it would have 0 plays in 12 years
Quoted from tdunbar:good thing its not a legless Hercules.
Hercules only weighs about 15 pounds more.
LTG : )
By George, you’ve hit on a capital idea. Screw those playfield protectors, just take the legs off the game and your game will remain imamaculate. Stern really messed things up by moving the power switch to the backbox.
Fake news bump. Go legless!
Quoted from AFM95:Hi Guys,
My new toy just arrived. Legs or no legs?

Just leave it like that and it will stay immaculate

For sure!!! Pins play so much better when they have missing legs
I'd like to thank this thread for getting me through a really slow day of work.
I still don't understand the "600 plays in the last 12 years" part though.
If I buy a used taxicab with 500,000 miles on it, park it in a barn a drive it once a year for a decade, I wouldn't try to sell it claimig "only 100 miles in the last ten years!" Who cares? It's still a high mileage car, except it probably has even more issues from neglect now.

Dude, you can't just come into this thread with a cargument and logic... GTFO with that !
Quoted from mskoenen:This machine sold recently for $2400 and is in similar physical condition. Although, it does not have chipping at the inlane rollovers and has less wear around the flipper buttons. Plus, it had been recently shopped and outfitted with LED's. However, that listing doesn't mention how many plays it's had since 2006. But that doesn't matter because if it's had 600 plays since 2006, but 10,000 in 2005, then the total plays accounted for in that arbitrary time frame is 10,600. Wear is wear, and how much it's had "recently" is irrelevant.
No word on if this one was imamaculate, though.

I sold this one. The cab was similar condition to this listing but it was completely torn down and shopped and outfitted with LEDs. It played 100%. Most importantly it came with a set of legs.
I paid $3000 for my Baywatch but it was fully rebuilt and it came with legs. Think about this though, no legs means no need for cabinet protectors so maybe he’s preserving the cabinet art.
I’m looking for a Godzilla if anyone has one(shameless plug)
This thread is magic. What the OP has done, in my genuine opinion, has made his game worth more. That Baywatch is now a thing of legend. It is the Baywatch that started Pinside's Thread of the Year. OP is GOAT. We should all pool together, buy it, and put it on the show circuit - no legs.

Exactly. Nor would you price it higher than any other taxicab has ever sold for in that condition, and maybe you would make it a little bit more presentable for resale and photographs. Is this your taxi?

or is one of these yours?
