Quoted from chrispoint:TL;DR - seller hosed one of the good guys. Beware.
OP was sent (and paid) to deliver a game, noticed a QS at the destination, bought it for 1k for himself. The person paying him to deliver the game is collecting every classic Stern and sets them up for public play at a location OP used to frequent. OP knew this person wanted the game to help complete the collection (and that it would be publicly playable for everyone to enjoy) however he never once offered it for anything less than astronomical price. Instead of ever giving a fair crack at it, OP then manages to find a second QS cab/playfield, and attempts to get the Stern collector to restore one for him so he can profit even further. Total BS and ethically corrosive.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Sounds like you're just jealous of his great find. He had no obligation to sell a game that he found for a price that you decide is fair.
