Rooting for you OP. If you can get that much for yours, I'm selling mine close to that price too.

Whatta ya say we make it an even 10k ?

#6 4 years ago

Throw in the new handle remake as well!

#7 4 years ago

This machine does look really cherry and you posted the pictures to prove it. I am sure someone will enjoy it.

Yep, basically this game was bought new, then sat idle in someone basement for over 20 years, ... go figure!
They also had a Judge Dredd in exactly the same condition,... but the bid was over our limit, so we let it go.

It's very rare to find games in this condition, that's why we made the purchase, and hence the higher sell price. Late last year we sold a regular routed BF for about 3K. It was nice, but nowhere near what this one is.

Mintyyyyyy greeeeeeeen bump!

Damnit, just when I thought my BF was playing and looking real nice, I come across this ad and see that I now need purple flipper bands because those things look great! GLWS, and free bump!

So this is who was bidding against me on those...

#12 4 years ago

Yeah, this is a very nice game, ... and one of Sega's best!! (better than a TOM, that's for sure!) Sega hit a Home Run with this one!

#13 4 years ago

Buy It Now lowered to $5995. Make me an offer, if it's reasonable, we'll sell it!

That's a fun game. It seems a lot like the wide body Star Trek game. How reliable were these old Segas?

#15 4 years ago

They always seem to get knocked for the artwork, but it is a good game imho. I have had 2 so far.

#16 4 years ago

Talked to my brother about this one .... we can go down to $5200 on it ...
and you won't be disappointed either!

thanks

Quoted from PavBall:

If the game is left on ... like in a bar, etc ... the GI connectors would burn out quickly (even faster than the Bally/Williams GI connectors). But, I suspect that in a home environment, having the game on for only a few hours, ... you wouldn't have any problems with the GI circuits. The GI connectors are not burned on this game.

I don't mind the artwork at all, and actually really like it. At 33yrs old, this movie was in my childhood wheelhouse and the real movie callouts plus killer layout make this tied for my top 2 favorite widebody of all time.

Free bump for a game my son and I have hours of fun with. He probably plays our BF 10 to our WCS.

It's gorgeous.

Question: Have those ramps always been a bitch to make it up even new out of the box?
I always had a problem making up those ramps with ease.
