Quoted from woody76:

I can't imagine paying $10k for one of these. I love to flip around on it at shows, but IMO it is a $4k game all day long.

Full disclosure, I own a Banzai Run - while I also agree that this probably isn't a $10,000 game unless it's been fully restored and/or in absolutely pristine condition, it's also NOT a $4k game all day long. In just looking back in the archive here, there hasn't been a Banzai Run for sale in the $4k range for a couple of years. In today's market, I'm pretty sure a working, decent condition Banzai would sell instantly in the $4k range. Now, it may be that you'd only consider buying a Banzai Run if it was in the $4k range because you don't care for the game play, and that's OK, but the history of sales here would indicate that it hasn't been a $4k game in quite a while.

Quoted from pinlink:

At least all the Banzai Run owners think its a good price lol

You'll notice that I didn't say it was a good price, I simply stated that in general, you won't find it for $4k (Duffy's deal not withstanding) today. I don't like where prices are today but as has been said many times here, sellers don't set the market, buyers do. You can ask any price you want, whether it sells is up to the buyers.

I guess we will see if this game sells.

Duffy is from Germany and he found the one under $4k Banzai Run deal. Ok, all Banzai Runs are now $4k and under...Look, we can have this argument all day but I'll stand by what I said before, it's not a $10,000 game, but it's not a $4k game "all day long". Sure, there are going to be outliers but that doesn't make it the "norm".

Let me know when you find, and buy, your $4k Banzai Run.
