You are the original owners but this machine has been routed correct?

#4 4 years ago

Yeah there's some sticker on the apron right over the Bally.

Why would that be there if they were the original owner?

Who is Stan Van?

I actually had a game (Gottlieb EM, I think) with a Stan Van sticker on it.

From this article: https://www.eastbaytimes.com/2013/11/07/martinez-apps-take-back-seat-to-nostalgia-of-arcade-games-for-repairman-2/

"He discovered that someone could: the late Stan Van, a game operator out of Concord. But by the time Van came over with his tools, Mao had managed to repair the machine himself. A friendship was born; Stan encouraged Mao to start his own business. So he did"

What a bargain!

Can we forbid newbie's under 25,000 Pside achievement pts from posting games for sale?
Too much of this crap lately, though it is fun to ridicule.

Great price. Should sell quick....

#8 4 years ago

I’m waiting for the “but it’s RARE!” statement from the seller any minute now...

Cabinet looks beat to death and faded, coin door drilled. Original owner must have had it on route.

Mine just went up in value. 3rd owner serviced it for 2 previous owners. Worked at distributor that original owner bought it from. 12k plays on meter.

Honestly i don't think there's any reason to be rude. This person obviously went through the trouble of making a pinside account and donating, and it's apparent they just don't know much about the market or what makes a game more or less valuable. Perhaps constructive criticism would be helpful here on why the game isn't worth the high end value that they're asking
