Well don't forget the flipper button in place of the start button.

Heres the simple facts that some seem to be overlooked when it comes to the sour remarks about this ad. First of all the game is listed as HUO which we can clearly see from the pictures that it is not and that is undisputable. Secondly the very beginning of the sellers ad states that the game is in almost perfect condition which is also a misrepresentation of the title. I do think the machine is cosmetically in better shape than others that have come up for sale lately. Almost perfect however is a disingenuous claim especially since we have the glass still on and no close-ups up a play field top or inside the cabinet. Just from what you can see from the poor playfield pics there's ball wear where the ball drops out of the ramp which leads me to believe that there will be other wear in other places once more pictures are given. I personally don't care what price he puts on it the market will dictate whether or not somebody wants it but that also is not the issue. The issue to me is that it is being represented as something that it is clearly not and that's pretty much the end of the story.

Quoted from herbertbsharp:

People outside Pinside Land have different definitions for condition. They aren't actively trying to deceive anyone, they just look at it like 99.9999% of the rest of the world. Every CL ad from casual owners has words like perfect, excellent, HUO, etc.. , what are we gonna do, call them liars because we have higher standards? If it's a pinside vet calling it perfect, then that would be bad, but when you can tell it isn't someone in the hobby it is unfair to bash them over it. Most people on the street would call this great condition because they have all seen terrible condition games on route over the years.
That ball drop wear is nothing on a DE. From the limited pics the playfield actually looks great for a Data East from this era. POTO, TMNT, The Simpsons, BTTF, they all get totally trashed, especially in the outlanes.
I see Moberg's $2350 and raise it to $2500.

I also agree with much of what you said as well I was merely pointing out that if that is all we could see as far as the ball drop from the pictures then logic has it that there would be other instances once U delved into more pictures. I'm not bashing the guy at all and I'm not price policing him at all. All I ever ask and or expect is for people to give accurate descriptions otherwise you find yourself right here where we are all at now in a forum bashing someone's ad for not being truthful. Now that being said since the guy is brand new I can see how he would not be able to evaluate it properly and if he just looked on Craigslist you could draw your conclusion of the condition based upon others that were there. I don't have a dog in this fight I think it's a horrible game but at the same time it is very collectible and I wouldn't mind having one someday myself as well.
